Perfect, quiet breakfast. My wife and I had the French toast, the Sweet Corn Fritters and an Iced Coffee. 10/10. Our dog was even offered a water bowl. At the table it feels like a Bali resort in Mosman
We celebrated our daughter's 19th birthday at Stranded for dinner and had the best time. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Our waitress recommended some excellent dishes that we really enjoyed. Thank you for making my daughter feel so special and for a wonderful evening.
Always a great recommendation for an demanding gourmet who wants a cosy, quiet yet casual food looking place. I love the variety, approach to excellent taste and service without any pretence. Try any of the tapas or the lamb shoulder, you won't be disappointed. Nice wine selection too, all for a reasonable price for Mosman. The owner and the staff know how to make you feel special. If this is not enough, go Friday night and enjoy the Spanish guitar live performance. It can't get more authentic and enjoyable - I thought. But then I discovered they serve late-night coffee too. I am hooked.
Awesome cafe for early morning breakfast. Great coffee and homemade fruit bread. The lunch menu looked amazing. Butter for toast is served in a little dish so perfect for responsible consumers who are saying NO to single serve plastics containers.
Tucked away from the noisy main road, this relaxed restaurant is a hidden gem. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we are always impressed with what's on offer and with the lovely staff who consistently deliver friendly, fun, relaxed service that creates a great vibe, especially after a busy work day. Delicious tapas always has us coming back for more impossible to pick a favourite dish - we've tried and tested all of them, and they all hit the spot! But prawns, fritters, chorizo and flathead are always somewhere in our order. My favourite place in Mosman for sure!
Stranded does not refer to the food. Tucked away in Mosman is excellent food. If Tapas style is not your thing, do not worry, a few dishes shared make a great meal. Look for the page of special Australian wines for a different take on old styles.
Finally a new face in the cafe scene for Mosman. Situated in a really lovely courtyard hidden away down a side alley off Military road, it is a quiet relaxing place for a coffee or quick meal. The confit eggs that I tried for brunch was really delicious, primarily due to the freshness of the ingredients, though it wasn't too special and maybe a little bit expensive. I recommend trying one of the daily-changing pies that they have on offer. They are locally sourced, fresh and really very nice.
I went there the other day with my family. My patents even booked a table a week in advance. We were there for dinner time and it was definetly not busy. They didint have everything like half of the dishes from the menu and it took a long time. The quality was not too bad but the prices were Incredible! We wont join this restaurant again.
I had breakfast there and my french toast was extremely oily. I wanted to ask the waiter for a new one but they said that it is not allowed according to their policies. Also, when the owner i suppose got involved he was very rude. I had to pay for bad quality food and I do not recommend this place at all!!
Stranded is a very cosy place, the service and food were excellent-definitely worth a visit!
