Took the bus from here once, and the other times we were just here for the sushi shop. Staff were friendly and helpful that time we asked about the schedule. This place seems rather deserted even at supposedly peak hours.
0 if i had the option buses are never on time and this monitor is not running for fews.
Convenient to go to from most of Auckland. Westfield shopping centre is a cross the road. Manukau Train station also cross the road. Inside of Manukau Bus Station is very clean, and there are cafes and food shops around there.
Rarotonga clockwise and anticlock wise service doing a lap of the island every hour. $5 per person. A great way to get around.
It does the job. I have had no response from Auckland Transport to my question as to why the exterior downlights are kept on 24 hours a day. Wasting power during the brightest days of summer and now as we cruise into winter
New bus station that is behind the Manukau Shopping Center. It is also across the road from the train station. There are quite a few shops outside the station for food and drinks.

Very large and well laid out facility - no wifi for waiting passengers, toilets very smelly so not being cleaned regularly or well. Nowhere to get food/drink - beautiful building but lifeless - just another large mausoleum in the middle of the city - a lot of effort had obviously gone into designing and building the facility but the management and use of it could do with a serious review. I watched with sadness at an elderly person on sticks struggling with bags with no one bothering to help and the one security guard in the place just standing there with arms folded watching - if it wasn't for my help I doubt that the person would have been helped - certainly not from the bus station guard.
In central Manukau, access to Manukau Rail station, Manukau Institute of Technology, Westfield Plaza. 15 to 20 min to Auckland International airport.
Don't have much experience of bus stations but this one was good.Modern and clean with clear signage of where to go. Has security staff who are helpful and friendly. A shop supplies all your food and drink needs and snacks can be bought at reasonable prices. This place works well.
