Terrible customer service by the bald guy service at the AT station. I had requested for a refund on a faulty card reader where it had charged me money erroneously. He gave no chance for me to explain the situation and given i had already spent my weekly cap he kept blaming me for not tagging off. Luckily i went to another station and the staff there was incredibly helpful and also ironically stated the same guy had a constant issue of blaming customers and not being helpful which resulted him being trasnferred.
It served as my transport hub in my initial days in new zealand. I will always remeber the winter days i have waited here for the buses.
Took the bus from here once, and the other times we were just here for the sushi shop. Staff were friendly and helpful that time we asked about the schedule. This place seems rather deserted even at supposedly peak hours.
Convenient to go to from most of Auckland. Westfield shopping centre is a cross the road. Manukau Train station also cross the road. Inside of Manukau Bus Station is very clean, and there are cafes and food shops around there.
It does the job. I have had no response from Auckland Transport to my question as to why the exterior downlights are kept on 24 hours a day. Wasting power during the brightest days of summer and now as we cruise into winter
