Absolutely exquisite dining experience. We stayed at the Crown Promenade & I bought a voucher from Groupon for the 5-course meal for Grant's birthday. It was a brief & pleasant 5 minute stroll from Crown. I frequently feel a bit self-conscious using coupon discounts but at no stage were we made to feel as if we were anything less than treasured guests. Stix Bar is designed beautifully, with sparkling, clean lines & opulent touches. The waitstaff were friendly, warm & absolutely charming. Each course of the meal was delectable, melt in your mouth delicious & following our meal the staff brought a special yummy chocolate dessert with a candle & sang happy birthday to Grant. I was genuinely touched by their extra effort & kindness. Grant declared it was "the best meal ever" & we will definitely be returning. The portions were not the typical tiny spoonful of a few morsels of food & a squiggle of sauce on the plate that you get at many fine dining establishments. They were generous, beautifully presented & outrageously delicious. The view from our table at the glass fronted dining room over the lake was lovely. The vodka martini was perfect & the bottle of Shiraz recommended by the hostess from the impressive wine list was excellent. Thank you, Stix Bar, for an unforgettable evening.
A lovely homely bar that's fun and perfectly located. The food is an experience in itself. Try the prawns, they're amazing. For a trick of the mind and tastebuds, I had a macaroni burger, which looked like a cheese burger yet revealed a sweet sensation of mango and almond. A great selection of wines. And the staff are the friendliest obliging crew around. Well done.
We dined at this restaurant while staying at the apartments and I must say the food was AAA+ we also dined at Perth's revolving restaurant the next week and I think the food was just as good if not better at Stix and cost under half the price. Well done to an amazing venue that has a great view of the sunset and then city lights with the convenience of close parking and easy to get to .....a real hidden gem.
I have been to StixBar a few times now. We heard about it through friends. I'm a sucker for good service and find the staff very friendly and welcoming. They even remembered me from my first visit and made me feel like a VIP my next two visits. Its obvious they really care about your experience at their venue. If you like steak, their beef tenderloin with bearnaise sauce is unreal, the tastiest steak I have ever eaten! no word of a lie. The shark bay prawns are awesome too. Highly recommend the StixBar for sure.
This little bar, tucked away in the Burswood suburban area hides some of the best French cuisine in Perth. Brilliant wine list, well stocked bar, knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices. What's not to like?
Went there for dinner after work. Excellent advices from the waiter, fresh products cooked right for an amazing taste. After the first bite of beef my co-worker experienced "a party in his mouth"! That sums it up for me. Will come back. Soon.
Great atmosphere, attention to detail and excellent food and wine makes the Stix bar a top choice for me. The setting is intimate and relaxing and the staff friendly, loved it!!
You must try their new, all home made, bacon and egg roll. Delicious. I don't think they grew the pigs and chooks themselves, but they made everything else, including the sauce and bun
As always awesome guys and I'm not just biased, even our friends loved it...great food, great service, even better view not that you notice since you are too busy delving in to chef Francois' tasty menu.
