The maintenance manager has a good reputation for his work ethics from people who worked with him when they were in Mareeba. I heard this as I am in Canberra and came from Mareeba. Very impressed they were with his approach and expertise. Good work deserves compliaments.

I have lived  in Mareeba and moved to Canberra and ironically came across someone who was an ex employee of the Steggles factory discussing the weather!  I mentioned places and he said he worked up FNQ, I said Cairns and when he said Mareeba, my ears pricked up because I worked in Mareeba.  He mentioned the Management was new and articulate. I don't know of this person but his words, and of his wife, were impressionable.  I am working at a company in NSW that have values but seem to lack support for their staff,so I was interested.  I am writing this to compliment a decent Maintenance Manager at Mareeba , with an accent he said, and respected the workers and always went above and beyond.  Very talented and knew what he was doing. Goes above and beyond a "decent down to earth bloke".  We should have more people like this and I believe we could do with better people like him by the sounds of it.  Karen Davies
