Great food, that’s reasonably priced. Stan was a lovely fella. Can’t fault at all.

Never had a problem, fish is battered lightly, not covered in cake chips are great, service is fine. Good old fashioned chippy with crumbed cutlets.still the best in orange.

Worst customer service I’ve had anywhere in a long time. Unless you were an elderly regular you were treated like an inconvenience more than a customer. I was excited to get old school chips but was made to feel so inhuman. I said to a lady standing next to me “ hi excuse me have you ordered” to which she smiled and replied “no not yet”, we had a little giggle and I said “oh okay no worries, I would hate to push in” and for the first time even acknowledging I was in the store the owner said “she wouldn’t be served anyway” rudely and almost angrily as if I had done something to him. I was so taken aback as I was trying to do the right thing and not push in but the way he said he wouldn’t have served me was disgusting. When it finally came time for me to order he rolled his eyes, huffed and puffed and basically threw my food at me when it was ready. He asked me if I wanted salt but by the time I could even open my mouth to reply he said “I take that as a no” and was already wrapping it up.  Now I am a really polite person. I am always apologising even if I’m not in the wrong and I am someone who would rather let someone go first even if I was next and I’ll happily wait as I have no need to complain even if it’s an inconvenience but that response was degrading and as a young woman I seriously felt targeted like I didn’t belong in the shop. And I understand you’re busy but I won’t be going back which is disappointing.

Found this shop by accident the food was very fresh and battered and cooked in front of us, I would go to this shop again

Stans is an Orange icon. If you're looking for an old-school corner store-style burger shop, then this is the place for you. The lunchtime special called "The Tradies Special" includes a burger, a "small" fries and a can of drink. I couldn't finish my fries and I'm a big guy! If you're looking for gourmet food, Orange has lots of other places to offer, but if you just want a solid burger, fish & chips, or other corner store style food, then this will fulfil all of your food and nostalgia needs!

I love Stan's take away. I go there every time I go to Orange. Just love their Crummed Cutlets.  It is always a special treat for me. The potato scallops are the best. The guys are always friendly and service is great, even when they are 'flat out' busy, which is most of the time. Cheers. Greg Fry.

Nice service. Fast with a smile on their faces. Quality food. Two male staff are always friendly wearing a smile. They seem to be hard workers, will definitely recommend this place.
