Great costumer experience! Walked there to get my breakfast, ordered a Benedict roll and a flat white. The attendant gave me the wrong roll but I didn’t check and started walking back. The shop sent a crew member driving a car after realising their mistake and caught up with me after several minutes. The crew member introduced himself very politely and expressed his apology. Drove me back to the shop to get my correct order, then gave me a free snack for apology again. Possibly the best shopping experience in Sydney so far. And the food is great!
The cutest themed cafe and what a perfect location for it! I loved the horse decor throughout, it brought a cute homely feel to the cafe. The staff are very friendly and hospitable coming around often to check if their guests are happy. I loved the coffee here, they had a little line up for their takeaway. The dishes i ordered were simple but delicious. I really loved the 'Halloumi Salad' with broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, poached egg and sprouts. Very clean dish and left me feeling full and satisfied! The 'Smashed Avo' as some of you may know is a favourite of mine, their's was very simple and clean. Great start to the day!
On busy Anzac Parade, a stones throw away from the horse stables & racecourse, this cafe transports you from busy city scapes to somewhere cosy, warm & inviting with accents of stables & horses in pictures, saddles and trofies lining the walls. The warmth of this place is also reflected by the staff who welcomes you in warmly and are friendly and hospitable throughout my visit. The menu is classic and solid, providing lots of the all time favourites such as fluffy, 3-stacker, plate-sized pancakes which you can choose to have with banana & choc honeycomb or fresh berries. All generously doused with maple syrup & a big scoop of ice cream. Or a healthier, ever so popular smashed avo on toast with fresh cherry tomatoes, a scattering of feta & 2 perfectly poached eggs. The pastas all sound tempting & the chilli prawn number was a great choice with juicy sweet prawns and a good kick from the chilli. Then there are the burgers - you can order it however you like with whatever toppings you like. The concoction I tried had pink, tasty beef patties, chorizo, egg & a special, delicious sauce all on a soft brioche style bun. The Irish breakfast would please anyone up for a substantial, hearty meal & will surely cure a hangover. Coffee is well-made and strong and alcohol is also available if the desire strikes. Warm hospitality, great coffee, solid food offering that is well made and delicious, you may have won the trifector here.
Located close to Randwick Racecourse, this venue’s ambience is pretty cool. They have horse-themed decor throughout the Cafe so it really fits to its name. When you enter the Cafe looks like there aren’t many dining tables. But they actually have larger seating area at the back. It was my first time trying the coffee from Black Market Roaster. I love it. It’s amazing. I had several dishes today, including Irish Breaky Roll, Barramundi Salad and Chips, Pasta with Tiger Prawns and Pancake with Honey Comb. Everything was satisfying but my favourites were the Pasta and Pancake. Both of these dishes were beautiful inside and out.
The vegan burger is huge only one recommendation would be to add Pineapple and beetroot to it the price wasnt bad but it is a bit expensive to most in kensington area , but the chips are amazing very delicious 100% recommend but for a medium chips it should be a little more then two hands full so but other then that yummy Vegetarian options: Vegan
Cutest little cafe on the corner. Resembles a horse stable hence the name. There are photographs of horses printed out in large canvases hung on the walls and if you look carefully there are actually for sale. There are racing caps, saddles and trophies as decor. All that's missing is the actual horse! Also on UberEats, serving breakfast and lunch. From bacon and eggs to black pudding to burgers to pastas. It has everyone's cup of tea, or coffee or juice, and even wine! We went for the Irish breakfast, corn fritters and Gary's Favourite burger. Our eyes were definitely too hungry. Next time we will try the pasta options.
Good atmosphere cafe .. coffee was great and staff so nice ... We were new in this town after airport .. we just pick cafe without any information.. and that was good choice ... Coffee has good full of flavour and food wad tasty .. unique design of restaurant atmosphere is bonus .. I enjoyed it ... I guess one of good cafe what locals love ...
Cute little place, but poor customer service. Not a smile, no eye contact. We saw the the front staff call a customer back over a mistake the front staff made and re-charged the customer. If you make a mistake and charge someone for a small when they ordered a large, honor what you have charged and don’t embarrass the customer like it’s their error. Hospitality 101. Treat your customers with kindness and you will have repeat customers. The experience at this cafe was uncomfortable and awkward.
That avocado is only thing worth eating on the table. Terrible food. As a tapas bar, they don't have any tapas at all. When ordering drinks, the waitress don't know Gin&tonic or Baileys. 4.5 is way too overrated.
The food are decent... Apart from the chips,a little disappointed with the soggy thin chips personal taste. Also the portion size be a little bigger would be better.
