The best bagels in town. Absolutely lovely. It was light and fresh and delicious. I took home a stack of Bagels, some rhubarb cake and a lemon meringue tart, all equally good quality. Amazing range of breads and pastries. Thank you Grandma Moses. I can finally get my bagel fix close to home.
Prices have gone up. Understandable though, as a result of Sydney's crazy inflated prices. I was left with a bad impression of this brand initially from buying them prepackaged from the supermarket. But upon trying them out fresh, I have to say they are like totally different products. The ones at the supermarket are dense but these ones are light. Toasted them at home and they are the most delicious ones I've had in Sydney I haven't had many though , but still not as good as the ones from America. Didn't wait long to be served, prices are reasonable, and there are also a small collection of other baked goods to choose from. Street parking is accessible if you're not there during peak hour otherwise it's a clear zone being on the main road.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Bought a Danish and a chocolate cake as a nice treat to try and brighten my day. Only to find MOULD under one of the berries after already eating some of it. Needless to say - that put me off! I phoned them straight away - did not seem surprised at my finding and never apologised once. Wanted me to return for a replacement which I declined. She asked what I wanted and I said a refund. She said to come back to the store so I wasted more of my time returning to the store - to have her roll her eyes at me and shake her head when issuing me the refund. As an asthmatic you could have caused me serious harm if I had eaten it. Disgusting customer service. Will not be back that's for sure!
Best bagels, incredible cinnamon rolls and others, nothing not fabulous! The staff there are super friendly too! Small space for dine in so recommend take away.
Inside the bakery is very nice and clean. Staff are polite and considerate. Has very neat and clear signage - excellent. $5 for a cream cheese bagel or heaps of others too and a small flat white is an absolute steal. Will make this a regular.
Cream cheese was so smooth and creamy! They were the best bagels I’ve ever had! Coffee was great too . Highly recommended if you love bagels
Good service. Very popular with locals. The bagel with smoke salmon was great although seemed a bit dear for $14.00. The pain au raisins $4 was fantastic. Flat white $4 was average. Delicious sourdough bread with soy and Linseed. Whilst they were Covid safe, the customers next to us weren't! They couldn't keep safe distance from us. Would come for bagels and check out other stuff when the lockdown is over.
These guys make the absolute best bagels and pastries! They are so delicious, and the staff and owners are so lovely and kind! They always go above and beyond for their customers. They also have the best coffee in the area. Just love them! Thanks grandma!
Love this spot in Kensington, my friend and I adore coming here. It's the highlight of our Tuesdays. Not only is the food great but the staff are incredibly lovely as well. Shout out to Manfrey and the team, some of the friendliest and most generous people ever. Particularly this one day when they were about to close still served us wholeheartedly. The cinnamon scrolls, banana bread and muffin are highlights and of course the bagels as well.
Lovely people, superb baked goods bagels are legendary but everything is good really. I had a hankering for a mocha & it was yum. Will return again soon, especially for the excellent staff we had such a lovely chat whilst they were filling our order, made my day
