This is the second time I have booked an international trip with STA Auckland and there will not be a third. The first time was fantastic, and everything went without a hitch. This time however, we have had our flights changed twice (at both ends of the trip), minimal communication about either change and, despite having booked 8 months out from the departure, I had to run to the STA office in my lunch break to convince one of their staff to email the finalised itinerary/ eTickets, less than a week before our flight. This was after countless emails to our agent who ignored all attempts at contact. As a result of the changed flights, we now have an overnight stay in Manila, provided by the airline. No details of this were provided by STA, and again despite several emails to both our agent (again who ignored us) and the generic STA email address, it took a very expensive international phone call to get some action going (by someone other than the original agent). This is all happening within a week of our departure back to NZ, and with no initiative shown by STA. I’m sure there are dud agents at every office, and in fairness almost everyone else we’ve dealt with have been the ones to actually action requests, however the ignored emails to their generic STA office address is troubling. Make of this what you will, but by my experience, I can’t recommend using them.

I lost on a good flight deal waiting for the travel agents to email us back with a confirmation. Even after contacting them multiple times, no one seemed to care.

Travelled to England September 2016 and stayed until November 1st same year. they went the extra mile especially Zoe NZ Queen Street branch highly recommend it

I checked out a ticket price on their website which included being able to change dates etc & then went in to purchase. Was the same price but I noticed the option to change dates or cancel was no longer there at all. If I wanted those options was around $150 extra up front. Scam lol. Do yourself a favor & always buy your ticket direct from the airline!!!
