St Kevins hired an 18 yo sports coach in 2022. No training or advice given in dealing with students, just “you’ll be fine”. The successful young coach had finals victories in each of his seasons. His team & fellow coaches have the utmost respect for him.nThis season, his Year 10 team was harassed and ridiculed at training by a Year 12 St Kevins team. The coach calls out their behaviour, but they confront him physically causing him to fend off one of the students. The student files a complaint for being ‘touched’ and they all spin the story to the school and their parents. St Kevins conducts a closed ‘investigation’ with zero consequences under the Working with Children Act 2005, yet St Kevins forces the young coach to leave the job he loves.nAll power to the worst behaved, most vindictive, dishonest, privileged, precious, and entitled, senior grade, little boys at St Kevin's, enabled by St Kevin’s insipid and complicit administration!
Great school with fantastic sporting facilities including an oval, pool and courts. Direct train stop outside via Heyington station and along the Yarra trail.
These blokes are entertaining to listen to on the trams.nAmazing chanting skills
I remember it fondly.the p.e used to massage my legs after sport and he had a special cream
Went there for a cricket game in Yr 5. Turned out it was the older boys lunch break. They were booing when I was bowling and when I was waiting on the bench to bat one yelled a racial slur. All in all a horrible school. Not sure about the education but the upbringing lacks.
