Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) started 2nd April 2013. Finishes 9th June 2013. (my fantastic Sandra's birthday). Ten weeks - no solid food - aim to lose 20 kg.

Today I visited St.James Pharmacy in regards to an urgent health issue. I explained the issue to the Pharmacist who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in identifying the issue and suggesting the appropriate course of action. I feel better already, I am extremely grateful for the help and understanding shown to me. Thank You St. James Pharmacy
Sandra and Steven are very professional and easy going. I have used this pharmacy for several years as my office is close by. They have a genuine interest in their patients, i have seen many times how they treat homeless , drug addled people and the elderly with dignity and respect, a lot of places do not.
I always love dropping into this place. The owners are always so happy and bubbly and make you feel very welcome. They are also both very knowledgeable. Looking forward to my next visit. Edit after response from owner: LOL - thank you for your reply! I shall identify myself next time I come in :

It is refreshing to visit a pharmacy that is friendly and happy to help you. They really take the time to listen to you and give you there expert advise. I have been here a few times now and wouldn't bother going anywhere else. You can really tell that they care about there customers. Its not all about taking your money here for products that probably wont work, you can just tell its more about helping people which is a real rare find in the city. Thank you Steve for all your help and advise!
The owners Steve and Sandra know their stuff and will help you choose the right medicine. They will also ask you to consider the generic option to save you money. They are great people to talk to. Please support this local small business.

i went in with my elderly grandmother for her meds and kindly asked the man to get us what we needed and he came bake with something totally different and told us it did the same ting and was better we said no sir we just need exactly what my elderly grandmother takes and he screamed in our faces saying get out of my store we said no sir we are sorry we just need to get exactly what she needs but still continued to scream saying get out. will never be going back there again and defiantly do not recommend
I'd like to respond to the person who left a review and basically called the the owner at St James Pharmacy racist. I can assure you that there is absolutely no-one that works in that Pharmacy that is racist. I too am not racist and would not automatically assume that the reason that someone may or may not have been rude your description to me was due to race or gender etc. I do not think the problem was that you are black - I know the owners at that Pharmacy as I have been getting my medication there for a great many years. I think the problem was your attitude judging by that coming through in your writing which automatically made me defensive and therefore I can imagine, in person, that it might have the same effect on the owners of the Pharmacy. People make mistakes. I only know of one human that is perfect and that was Jesus whether you believe in him or not - if not, then there is no perfect human and so I tend to assume that a mistake is just that, a mistake - not done intentionally and I do not blast someone for making an error which your purchase. I was not there the day that you visited and find it very hard to believe that either of the owners were rude to you without what they considered to be reason although I can't speak for your experience. I don't write this in order to start a full scale war, quite the opposite - I just think people should think long and hard about the attitudes and manner in which they conduct themselves and assess the situation thoroughly before tarnishing someone's reputation on the internet with assertions of racism. That's a serious accusation and one that once you made it, you probably felt better and moved on but I can assure you, that is an insult and not equal to the alleged crime. If you'd simply stated your review based on your experience, I would not have felt compelled to respond as I was not there however you made an unforgivable accusation against one of the nicest people I know, on the internet without any proof or evidence. That is defamation of character and far worse than anything he may or may not have done to you according to your account, regardless of your colour.
