St.George Townsville

St George Bank is the worst company to finance with and I would not recommend this company to anyone. I regret using St George, I have had nothing but issues since. There is a reason as to why all of their branches are closing.

I am currently going through the process of purchasing a vehicle due to an accident. I have been using St George Insurance through the Aitkenvale Branch since mid last year and found them to be not only competitive in quality and standards but also exceptionally understanding and friendly! I went into the Aitkenvale branch as there was a discrepancy with the policy for the new vehicle and the ladies in the branch went out of their way and way beyond to rectify my situation. I have also have other business with them as well and every time I have had a concern they have also gone above and beyond their duty of care. Will certainly be recommending them to people looking for affordable, quality insurance and banking services.

All good until I made an insurance claim. Had some water damage during the Townsville floods of 2019. Lodged a claim at the time. Inspection was quick. Did not hear anything for 3 months and then they tell me the damage will not be covered as the water damage was a 'Maintenance Issue'. Now looking to move all my accounts to another bank. Would not recommend.
