Story

St George's Anglican Church Sorell is a vibrant Evangelical Anglican church in Tasmania's South East.
Our Sunday 10am service is a contemporary time of worship and learning from Scriptures, where children and adults are engaged and catered for.
St George's is led by a team of lay and ordained ministers along with the Rector, Rev Joel Kettleton.
We are part of a large rural parish that meets over 5 church centres as well as community spaces and homes.
Our Youth and Children's Ministry is called Sorell Youth, and meet throughout the school term.

We are an Anglican church in the evangelical tradition. We are committed to being a church for Tasmania making disciples of Jesus. We believe that the word of God as found in the Bible is trustworthy, relevant for living God's way in today's world and that people of all ages are empowered to live renewed lives through God's Holy Spirit. Our local communities have been linked to the life of the church for almost 200 years with a number of church buildings forming part of the rich history of Tasmania. South East Anglican is committed"
