the amount of times my review has suddenly disappeared is crazy. i used to go to this school but moved 2 months ago. from my time there, the following happened:n- was suspended more than once for wearing dead relatives jewelleryn- was cornered in the girls bathroom by 2 TEACHERS/STAFF who were trying to make me leave the school with a man i was not comfortable going withn- was constantly pulled out of class for jewelleryn- was harassed by teachers for not participating in PEn- was forced into handing over a ring that was t allowed to be on. i never saw it again.n- 2/3 bathrooms available for high school students closed off for majority of the daysn- was called a “pest” because i was walking in the sun to find a place to sit and refused to sit on a bench already occupied because i didn’t have a hat. i was 15.nthis school wants every student to be a carbon copy of one another. also, most students drown in school work and have no say in the way their school aids for them. most of the students aren’t even the problem in my opinion. it was always the teachers putting a hard time on students. i will say though, there are 3 teachers off the top of my head that i would give a billion dollars if i could.
They sent out an email to parents that if you are 5 minutes to class 3 times in one day, you get suspended. This is a waste of more class time and the goal was to reduce this.nnso if you get bullied by a student, what does St Eugenes do in response? Nothing! They say “just move away from them” or they bring both students face to face in a room and talk about. If it was a teacher bullying you and you report it they just say your lying! Depending of the severity of the accusation, it can land you expelled from the college. Bullying gets addressed every year with “R U OK” day. So what happens if your being bullied? HAVE A LOLLY POP AND WE WONT DEAL WITH IT!nyou wear a sock that is the colour black you’ll be given a lunchtime detention or worse. If you continuously don’t you Will get an after school detention for an hour after school. This school cares more about the uniform and it’s policies involved that they care more about it than your education and they usually spend the first 10 minutes of class just saying all about uniforms. This mean to already down to 45 minute lessons and then when it gets to exam time teaches say we have plenty of class time to do all this even though now we’re getting disadvantaged because the school cares more about the uniform. Lunchtime detentions or otherwise called reconnects. If you have a uniform violation or you have misbehaved in class what you do you sit in the classroom for your lunch break and you have to copy down a letter to your parents and to your leader what you’ve done wrong and what you’re going to do to fix that. If you do not attend your lunchtime detention they send people out to find you. If you disagree with the decision, then you are now face-to-face with either your coordinator or the principal just because you wore a black sock or even grey. Teaches at the school, all have their own college rules that One teacher says that you have to get changed into your sport uniform before your class and say you have to get changed during your class. I was told that having my phone in my pocket was okay but then other teachers if they see it in your pocket even just the outline in your pocket it gets taken away from you for the rest of the day or until your parents come and collect it it’s up to the discretion of the teacher. The rules here change very quickly depending on if a student actually finds that it’s unfair or not correctly written. Don’t get me wrong. Some of the teachers here are lovely. They make the school way better and then some teachers that scream and yellow at children making them scared to even go back into the classroom and then if a student was to report this, they were just told that they were lying to and to leave. They encourage you to speak up but when you do, you get spoken down to like a piece of dirt of the floor.
i hate this school my mother is thinking of droping me out of this horable school but she wont since ive got good friends and whever we are together and we get bullyed we stick up for each other but when we have eletives im not with most of my friends so they bullie me she littrally took my present from my arms and says {Oh YoU gOt Me A GiFt} then i told her who got it for me and she said eww and litrally whiped her hand on a ramdon kid juusut walking past if her parents see this you did a horabal job as rasing her i would give this school a -10 i hate it
For a school that prides themselves on excellence, and expects their children to act a certain way they should teach their teachers to act the same way.nWhile some of the teachers are lovely some of the teachers are just down right rude and yell at the kids. I would be warned that it may appear a good school but underneath they're not that great.
I would NOT recommend sending your child to this school, whilst the school and staff seeming lovely to the parents, they act terribly towards the children and their problems. They do not listen to students problems and pass them on to someone else as quickly as possible so they don't have to deal with it, and bullying is left undealt with. they talk about acting kind to one another but honestly the teachers treat the students worse then the students do to each other. This school has a horrendous bullying problem, they care more about if earrings have stones in them then if one of their students is literally being beaten. Teachers, scream ,yell, and harass students to the point of tears and demand respect without giving any to the students this is an exception to the few very amazing teachers. The only time the school cares about students problems is when it reflects badly on the image of the school. It would be a mistake to send your child here....
