The venue and atmosphere is not that great - but if a sport bar feel with sport always playing however the food here is surprisingly good. The chef has down some great takes on classics and haven't eaten anything here that wasn't well presented and well cooked.nThe table and layout is simple but does the job for a decent local.
We come here multiple times a week to wind down after work. We have tried the chipswith gravy , chicken tenders, king pao cauliflower, brisket nachos, squid, pork belly bites, pumpkin arancini and the steak sanga.. miss the mozzarella sticks and popcorn chickenboth were great Staff, drinks and atmosphere are awesome sauce.
My local... I have been coming to the springs for 10 years now weekly, both with my wife for dinners and my staff for lunches. The new chef and menu currently available has something for everyone young and old. The food is classic pub food with some twists thrown in. My staff love going to the springs and not just because I'm paying . We always leave full and talking about how nice each dish was from around the table. Well worth a try, and I am sure that you will have an enjoyable experience just as we do.
Nice place and nice food.nThe evening we went was a bad one for them, as they had a new chef that didn't quite know quantities. My friend lives nearby, so she alerted the server.nnTo ensure repeat custom, a business with food must remain consistent.nnI ordered the salmon with mash and charred brocollini. The brocollini wasn't charred, it was blanched.nnThe server fixed the issue by sending out more brocollini which was barely charred.nnHey chef! Know your stuff, or get out of the kitchen.
Springs Tavern are one of the best bars I have ever had the chance to eat at. The food is amazing and well priced. The bar staff are amazing, helpful, knowledgeable and always happy to help. I have been coming here for months and even with dietary requirements the team have always accommodated me and made me feel at home. A great place to drink and eat. Highly recommend Springs Tavern for mates, families and all ages
