First time I went and was impressed. The $20 steak deal is hard to beat. Chargrilled flavour was awesome. Service was quick. Outside area was excellent to have great conversations without shouting over people.nBar staff were quick and attentive. All in all a great little pub in the suburbs.
A lovely night tainted by a couple of drunken patrons who were physically shoving people without regard. Ultimately the experience was negatively impacted by apathetic and ineffective security. There were quite a few security personnel at the Noasis gig last night but they seemed to just be there for decoration.nn2 girlfriends and I were at the show from around 8pm and by 10ish we were physically shoved from our spot at the front by a couple of huge bullies who were too intoxicated to show any basic manners. We promptly left and I mentioned to the security chap at the door that people were getting inappropriately rowdy and a tad violent but the response was a helpless shrug then I was summarily ignored.nnEvents leading up to this were nice including pre-drinks and food, doggie friendly seating area and swift table service. There were also some really great supporting warm up acts.nnSadly let down by the venue’s poor management strategy for drunk crowd control. I wouldn’t consider coming to another gig here.
Such a nice place with good atmospherenI loved that!nOn saturdays they have dj with live music!nWe order seared salmon with grilled broccolini and creamy mashed potatoes.nArancini and a chicken parmigiana.nIt was so delicious!
Couple of pints and a bowl of chips nothing finer known to man. I do like the Swan at A$ 8 a pint, not because it's a relatively cheap beer, but suits my palate
I always thought that this place was a bit of a dive but we called in on a Sunday arvo, wanting to try somewhere new. The outdoor area is great. Had a DJ and atmosphere was good. Nice crowd and dogs allowed. Bar service was good. Gave the food 5 stars as really couldn't fault it. Will definitely be back.
