Often a click and collect customer, I've become a regular here because the staff are always so lovely! Also stocks most of what we need and is right next to a bottle-o if you are trying to arrange a paint and sip.
I love spotlight, I love going there for whenever I feel creative and I like looking around for ideas or something new and office works being next door makes it even better!!
Spotlight is my de-stress place! I come alive with possibilities here - so many uses. I came in looking for wool, but side tracked a bit. Lovely material suitable for making my own dressing gown, a kid's tray that could also do as a stable table alternative for my laptop, notions and bits and bobs! My friend thought that he was rescuing me....wrong!!
Weird experience with customer service lady at the counter, tried arguing the $50 note I was using was “thin and felt weird” after informing her I have just got it out a atm she grabbed another $50 from me and told me “feel the difference” which I didn’t she then proceeded to tell me “can I take the thick one” infront of other customers made me feel uncomfortable while experience made me feel like some sort of criminal like she was accusing me of using counterfeit money.nnAs someone who has a lot of tattoos felt very judgy which is a shame cause I shop here weekly.nnThink the staff need better training in regards to counterfeit notes and acceptable approaches.
I love Spotlight. It's one of my favourite shops to go to even if it's just to have a look around. I am in the store quite a bit. It's like a second home to me lol.nI buy all of my yarn there for my crochet and knitting projects. I have also bought items for cross stitch, diamond painting, latch hook rug making, sun catchers and jewellery making.nI am currently trying to learn patchwork quilting. So I have been getting a lot of items from Spotlight for that.nThe staff are great. They are always happy to help if you are looking for a particular item that you need and are unable to find it. They have great sales as well. I have also shopped online with Spotlight and the service is great Their click and collect service is very handy if ever I'm busy.
