This is by far the best craft store I’ve ever been to. The store had a massive range of everything! There were kitchen appliances sold at low prices, such as thermoses and pans. As a crocheter and knitter myself, I was very impressed with the selection of yarns and other materials. The section had an entire aisle simply for crochet hooks and knitting needles, which was amazing! While the yarns weren’t so cheap, I still bought some skeins. Like any other costuming shop, aisles had a variety of things you’d often see in a Party World. The staff were super helpful and kind, as well. Also, the checkout process was somewhat simple and smooth. In summary, I was impressed by this store, which was almost perfect in my point-of-view. I’d give it a 9/10.
Staff are helpful however hard to find when you need assistance. Good selection. They need to improve their click & collect signage/process. Lined up at front counter to be told need to go to back counter. Even then, no signage on the way to direct people to right counter.
I wanted to return some curtains as I purchased the wrong size. Amy was really nice. She was patient, friendly and helpful.nIts been really hard to get someone on the phone and after reading some of the reviews I was worried but Amy was professional and knowledgeable. We are planning to re-curtain the whole house so I will definitely buy from Spotlight again.
Great variety, lots of stock and heaps of staff. Would love more of an option to buy bulk sempertex balloons instead or individual ones. Love the sales. Will admit the floral/artificial plans section is just grossly overpriced even with sales!! Otherwise have no issues to keep returning.
Erica was exactly the helpful, knowledgeable and kind person I needed when I came into spotlight looking for birthday balloons! I was lost and very out of my depth, trying to give my girlfriend the classic birthday balloon special, until Erica noticed and was able to save the day! Thanks heeps!
