Very clean Very relaxed family atmosphere. Absolutely loved this place. Spinner and all the Staff were great. Spinner got me a job at Rent A Fence which his friend owns. The staff are always helping people find work. Ill be back Thanks again

My friends stayed here in August last year and I was invited to the general lounge for a friendly bev. It's clearly a party orientated venue with little refinement and outrageously slack tidying staff. I ended up picking up bottles myself to avoid disaster and the couches soon became filled with inebriated tourists flaking about. The Boy's were fine apart from a dispute re money left in the safe earlier that day. Also they felt a little buzzed from the residual second hand cannabis smoke. Being professional surfers they were wise to refrain. They left in dismay as they were not treated well with the missing money despite having picture proof of the cash beforehand and after handing over to the staff safe. Spinner is a great owner and is dedicated to safety for guests so I bet this place will be working like clockwork again soon.

Such a fun hostel! So homey, got to get cozy on the couch in the morning, drink and meet people in the back, learned how to make sushi and made some really awesome friends that I still see today. I also bought a car and parked it there for a while with no issues whatsoever. Thanks spinner!

Such a great hostel, booked for one week and have been here 3 months, made loads of great friends, staff are all legends and you get plenty of space, it's really close to loads of parks and only a 15min walk to the city, don't want to leave but I'll definitely be coming back

Very well maintained, neat and tidy rooms & kitchen.. the place feels really compact that you litreally cannot miss saying 'Hi' to the guys around.. even though I only stayed for 4 days, Spinner and his friends made me feel very welcomed.. and I stayed with friendly people as well..
