We had a great lunch here as a family catch up/ reunion. Enjoyed everything about the place. Being Otago breed was great looking around the decor recalling my days of living in Dunedin. Will definitely visit again when down that way. We'll done team
You feel really comfortable here. What a great atmosphere with a beautiful bar.nThe staff are incredibly friendly, quick and attentive. The food was simply sensational on both days and the Speights beer is very, very good. The venison in particular was one of the best I've ever eaten. I'd love to come back... but that would mean flying around the world again for 24 hours. ;
Great range of beers, extensive menu and sports screens. What's not to like?nnThey offer tasting flights if 6 beers which is a good way in.nnThe food was good but far too much. I could only eat half my portion.
Had a great experience. The servings are generous, delicious, and perfect with a pint. Almost as great is the service. One of the workers was particularly helpful, didn't manage to catch their name, but they had a brown hair and a mustache. He took time in the busy restaurant to help me find the best vegetarian and gluten free options on the meal from his experience, and his suggestions were delicious.
we made this our last stop in dunedin; one beer sufficed as we didn’t have time to do the full tour. the place is nicely decorated with an interesting smoking area. unfortunately the merchandise wasn’t stocked up or i would have bought some
