Good store, very high end range of glasses. The promos are bid misleading on times, as for lenses they would drive you to buy add ons quoting that standard lenses are old technology now and don't work well but then they should stop selling those
My experience was an absolute joke. Went in to see them as my glasses broke, firstly I was asked to book in an eye exam which was fine and was told the earliest appointment in a weeks time. Went online and there was an appointment available for the next day. Anyways, got the test done and ordered the glasses. Received a txt after a week saying the glasses have arrived from Aussie. Tried them only to realize i couldn't see from one eye, turns out the optometrist got the numbers wrong and ordered them with +2.75 power instead of -2.75. The person helping me was not at all apologetic and said we will order another pair for you very casually. Its been almost a week and still no response. My job involves working on a computer for 8.5 hours and I am not legally allowed to drive without glasses too. Regretting the moment I decided to go to Specsavers, should have gone to OPSM as they are quick and reliable
Firstly, when my eye exam was booked my name and details were not taken correctly. They used another person's details with the same name. This wasn't picked up until after my exam was completed. After selecting my glasses I was informed it would be 2 weeks until ready. Normal lead time. My wife's glasses arrived after 2 weeks. Mine didn't. After 3 weeks I rang to follow up. No glasses yet. I was told by the lady on the phone that they would text me when they arrived. Today I went to the store to follow up in person. After 15 minutes of searching and checking systems, my glasses were confirmed as having arrived in store 3 days earlier. I have not received a text and the system confirmed it. The only saving grace here is that Priya assistant helping me was very good with her search for my glasses and with advise and fitting. Not my best experience with Specsavers. I'm a client of 15 years.
Dealt with Wilson Laufili at Papakura branch when picking out glasses for my daughter. Very customer focused, patient and great advice given. From picking the frames to fitting the finished product, we got great service the whole way through and Wilson involved my daughter in every conversation instead of just talking to me, the experience was perfect.
Initially they were going to get 1 Star, but thanks to a competent Manager , named Jen, im giving them 5 out of 5.My Wife & i went 23 june 2022 for Eye Tests & ordered soft Contacts specifically for a Dive trip in August.By 26 July , the contacts hadnt arrived at spec savers from Australia, & upon phoning them about it i was told they normally take just 2 weeks.As our trip was coming up we were thinking , No contacts means no diving.I spoke to Jen, and within two days, she had Sorted it ! Thankyou Jen !
Absolutely trash my appointment was at 1430hrs today and I was running late I arrived in the store at 1433 and they wouldn’t see me at all. They did say in a text the day before please arrive 10mins earlier I tried calling them twice I was running late. Why book an appointment at 1430 when they are going to see me at 1420 makes absolutely no sense. No wonder they constantly have different workers every month
The team at Specsavers Papakura are always, professional, helpful and friendly. I had dry eyes, it can be caused by too much screen time due to lockdown and I felt reassured and taken care of. I knew my eyes would recover because of the service and care I was given. I highly recommend you get all of you eye sight needs taken care of by the team at Specsavers Papakura.
Received the two pair of glasses today which the two glasses are different materials. But the staff can't tell the difference between them. I asked them to check it for me, they said the data of these two glasses have be thrown away. By the way, it took me one and half hours to receive and adjust my new glasses today. In addition, one of the staff ask me to give them good customer review. You specsavers have thrown away your 5 star customer review when you threw away my $449 glasses data! I have been your specsavers customer for 8 years, i am so disappointed that what happned today!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic service. Drew has picked up a eye problem in the past, got me into the Superclinic. I am loyal to Drew as he is outstanding for my eye health. Highly recommend.
Went to the shop at papakura to reshape my lenses into another frame they said it will took 2 weeks to do it. After a week they told me they broke my glasses and they needed to fit me into another frame. did that and they said it take 2-3 weeks for the glasses to come, the thing is both of my glasses are broken by them and I don't any spare for me to use. I have been suffering to go work I can't drive without my glasses. Service is slow they do t even answer the phone. Glasses are essential. I won't go back to specsavers again!
