Saw Simon today and he is amazing! After struggling with my eye with advice from the chemist, it took him less than 5 mins to see the issue, give me a solution and in half a day the issue is almost resolved. Hands down will be back and highly recommend them. Thank you Simon and the team. Naomi
I booked an eye test with David and received excellent service. He was very thorough and had a friendly, professional manner. He picked up an issue of potential concern that has previously been missed. Within an hour of me finishing my appointment he called me to say he had consulted with an ophthalmologist and gave me the all clear. Exceptional service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend David. The front of the store staff were also very professional and efficient.
I will only go to Specialeyes King Street especially to see David. He is very thorough, takes the time to explain everything and makes sure you leave with the correct prescription. I never feel rushed when going for a check up and he listens to every detail. The front of house staff are fantastic as well, they are very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My husband and I recently went to Special Eyes for prescription sunglasses. My husband's glasses were fine, but my glasses had a problem. The staff, particularly Amanda, was extremely helpful in making sure that issues with my order were fixed in the best way possible. My new prescription sunglasses are now perfect. My husband and I are both very satisfied with our order and the service.
I have been going to this opticians for so long, and previously went to Amanda when she was at Northbridge Optics. Amanda's customer service is legendary, from taking the time to properly look after my whims and tastes, to contacting suppliers, to even having a full replacement made of some very beautiful frames after an accident, I would not dream of going anywhere else ..i recently moved to Huntingdale, which means a fair hike to the store, but after going to 4 other opticians who had my prescription so wrong, and the help was so absent, I came straight back and bought 3 frames at this store and my contacts. All the staff, and Phil are amazing and very helpful .Fully recommend.

Just picked up my new spectacles and had to leave a review! I previously had my eyes checked at this outlet in the past and also purchased glasses. Based on good service then, I returned, and it was an excellent experience again. Definitely recommend.
Optometrist Simon was professional and thorough with the eye test however when I made the appointment in person a few days ago I asked if the eye test was bulk billed and the lady confirmed that it was. Attended the eye test today expecting it to be covered by Medicare. So was then shocked to be slapped with a $48 fee for the retinal photography. I said that this fee should have been disclosed prior to the assessment but they didn’t really apologise and made the excuse that it should have been disclosed and one of their younger staff must have forgotten. I feel they should have waived the fee since it was their fault. Full fee disclosure is important!
