Security guards here are very rude. Accused me of stealing and went through my personal handbag without telling me they will do a bag check, got yelled at the check out. I understand it’s a policy but they could’ve asked to do a bag check. When he looked through my bag he said “oh nothing inside the bay from here”, as if he knew I stole something. They need to be trained and taught how to deal with people professionally.
checkout operator Krystal was great! packed quickly but carefully! very impressed! But not happy that your special 1kg Pam's cheese nowhere to be seen in the fridge or even in the store! What's up with that? Monday & not in store! no wonder we dont come to new world weekly like we use to......
Fresh produce has been re- aranged , Increased in security. They follow customers while shopping? Ain't the go guys,someone will sue use for harassment if you keep that up. We popped in the evening , security manually unlocking the door as exiting
Love this place, the food here is yummy, affordable the Cafe on the corner opposite the train station make the best pies and sandwiches and they're cheaper then the bakery. And the use proper ham not that pink processed commercial ham every other bakery uses.
If you are carrying a bag of any kind the security will absolutely chase you down to make you store it behind their counter. The deli is no longer staffed and their selection is limited to the amounts THEY determine. Only want 100g Ham or luncheon? Forget it you can either choose the $3.50 or $6.99 options. Overall after shopping here for 9 years and paying money each and everytime, gotta say its annoying being targetted as a criminal the moment of walking right through the doors.
I have been a few times, it's small and a bit dirty, badly laid out, but the self checkouts are amazing the guy can see that you are an adult and do it by remote control! Imagine that.
