Friendly service but what I come here for is the old fashioned cake shop cakes. The snowballs are old school, light and fluffy with the lightest whipped cream. The vanilla slice has crispy pastry, just the right amount of icing and custard that holds its shape when you bite into it. If it is cakes and pastry like Nanna used to make then this is definitely your shop. If it's fancy and french then go to Laurent.

Worst vanilla slice I've had in my life. Top was rock hard and there was no flavour in the cream. Also bought a loaf of bread which was stale and hard.

Friendly lady serving us in both days of our visit. Gave us a couple of freebies on second day. Rolls and pastries were lovely.
