We discovered this place a couple of months ago. We've tried almost everything on the menu. The pizzas are fantastic! The toppings are of good quality ingredients real ham, super tasty spicy chorizo. The portions are generous. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. It's not expensive. We highly recommend this place for its gourmet take on pub meal favourites.
Good range of tasty pizza's and they do a good value lunch special
My partner and I ordered uber eats from the burger bar selection. My order was a baked lamb burger which included baked marinated lamb, cheese, avocado, mixed leaf, red onion, tomato, garlic aioli and mayonnaise served with chips. My partner got the beef burger without peri peri sauce and an egg added. Once everything arrived and we tasted everything it was great but I noticed a couple minor errors in my burger. My partners burger was perfect and what he ordered, the special requests were all fullfilled, so points for that. However the lamb in my burger appeared dry, bland and didn't seem to have a marinated flavour/look. I also had the wrong onion, mine being brown. Which is funny because my partner got red onion on his so I thought there couldn't of been a shortage or anything. The sauce on mine was also wrong, being what I think was bbq, instead of mayo and aoili like it states the order has. It's not really a big deal at all, the food was still really nice and we are happy with it. I just thought it would be important to note that it is important for the staff to follow the ingredients the food is meant to have. Otherwise it was good food and the service was great and efficient. It's easy to make a mistake and get confused and I understand and won't blame them entirely because we did order quite late, so they did well all things considered. Thank you for your service, the food was still good anyway!
I tried Gluten free Pesto Chicken Pizza. Sorry to say but did’nt find tasty at all. Need to make changes with quality of pesto sauce.
Me and my friend had a pizza last night, it was sooooo spicy that I had a bad stomach this morning I just ate one slice, the base was not fresh thin, like a wrap or a frozen wrap.
Pizza is good, not really excellent. About price: $$$. This is extra large half 4 cheese and spicy seafood actually should be spicy prawns and salami
On a busy Saturday afternoon we were so excited to go to Soph slice and try some good food. But was I disappointed big time. We were about to order when my lil one wanted to use the restroom. To our horror it was super smelly and filthy. We were so put off that I had to cancel my order. We didn’t feel like eating. I understand it’s a restaurant and mainly should be known by food but what does a dirty restroom say About there rest of the cleanliness and management. They really need to up their game.
I actually didn't end up ordering from here as there Capricosa offers anchovies as an option but you have to pay extra for them. A Capricosa has anchovies on it. Why make it an option, if someone doesn't want anchovies on there then they can ask for them to be left off! But the menu does look good otherwise...
I wanted so badly to give 5 star's, pizza looked great but didn't like the base of the pizza and service for eating in was 'ok'. Ate in to share a pizza and needed to prompt for plates and as the pizza is unable to be handled easily compared to other pizza's fork knife is required which wasn't an option. Will go back in case it was a once off average experience.
I had a marg + olives + mushroom and it was so delicious. The sauce was really flavourful and the base was a good balance of chewy and crispy. The driver was very helpful finding the right delivery spot for the hotel I was staying at that was a bit tricky to find. Thank you
