TERRIBLE. Receptionist needs to be trained in basic manners and customer service. Specifically: a not to swear jusssst under her breath about her colleagues “f**king Cindy” a doctor there, I believe several times; b when questioned on how much later than the > 1 hour late they’re currently running, instead of getting her back up immediately, that as a representative of Sonic and not being abused or treated rudely in any way that’s actually how Sonic treats it’s customers - rudely and with contempt, she should apologise on behalf of the company she represents and at least make a tiny attempt to give some information on how much longer a customer might expect to wait instead of essentially telling customers that’s us to sit down and shut up; c not attempt and fail to redirect the blame onto the customer when it is abundantly clear where the fault lies - with Sonic; d show at least a shred of gratitude when the customer who is the aggrieved party generously acknowledges that the wait is not your/her fault, instead of ignoring them; d consider picking up the phone it’s quite easy, children have managed to do it! and calling customers to tell them that X doctor is running “at least” 2 hours late so that said customers can rearrange their schedules around the incapability of Sonic to run to it’s own schedule. Which seems to be a standard thing, according to reviews. There’s this thing...they have it overseas...I think it’s known as ‘customer service’ and also ‘basic manners’, and perhaps even ‘how not to treat your customers with contempt’. All other staff were helpful and professional. The blonde receptionist’s awful attitude let’s Sonic down. Note: The hours-long waits appear to be standard Sonic operating procedure going by the Google reviews. 0 stars.
I was required to undergo a pre-employment medical using Sonic Health Plus. Sonic Health Plus were informed of the required tests to be conducted. The reception staff informed me that "they" also required a level 1 medical, so i agreed to undergo this medical as you would think the staff are fully aware of what is normally required. After all the tests were conducted, I had paid the bill, and then it was made apparent to me that the Level 1 Medical was not required. I phoned the reception staff and very kindly informed them that they conducted a type of medical that was not required, and so I requested only a partial refund for that portion of the overall cost. The reception staff transferred me to the manager where I once again explained myself. I explained that it was their own staff that informed me to undergo the extra Medical, however apparently that makes it my fault for not knowing their industry BETTER than they do. In the end and after 20 minutes on the phone I refused to try and explain myself any further as they simply would not issue any form of reimbursement. I was very disappointed with the whole service from Sonic Health Plus at Perth Airport and would highly recommend using other services if you are just so lucky to have that opportunity.
I have done multiple pre employment medicals at sonic health and have always been kept waiting for hours. My booking was at 10:30 and im still waiting to see a doctor 2 hours later. Extremely dissapointing and a constant waste of time.
Went there for a company medical. The medical itself went reasonably well. But the whole process took me 2 hours when I was told it would only take about an hour The waiting time was pretty similar for a company medical that I went for with another company previously
They were running very very late. I asked the receptionist how long until i would be called and she said she didn’t know. She didn’t even offer to find out. Way to go valuing your clients.
Be prepared to wait for a very long time. 3 and a half hours to complete a medical that was only aprox 30mins and it wasn't busy at all. Absolutely no respect for peoples time.
Receptionist was nice and welcoming, but the other staff were rude. I went in for a simple spiro test and the lady was rude and aggressive. Would not recommend coming here.
Long wait 3hrs these people are money grabbers to many clients not enough staff No wonder the staff here are all so rude and grumpy . You really would have to be desperate for a job to work with these guys or a quack with not much experience . Stay away from sonic go elsewhere if haven’t got all day to waste and no self respect And don’t mind some low paid idiot speaking to you like a dog
Appointment was easy to make. Friendly staff. Appoibtments takes 1-2 hours plus some delay ...so bear thus in mind
