Called up to ask for information about a breast scan with an outlook to booking an appointment after a private recommendation to get my breasts checked. Upon giving some information about myself to the lady on the phone, I was laughed at for requesting a breast scan at the age of 19. Considering all the attempts to raise awareness about breast cancer, this is a pretty poor way to encourage the scans among women. Very unprofessional way to approach the situation. I have now been completely discouraged from going along for a scan anywhere.
