This is school is one of the best intermediate schools in New Zealand By far. There were some really nice teachers and some... Questionable ones but all in all a really good school to send your child/children too. I was in room 14 mrs stonex 100% nice teacher you are very lucky if you have her and room 16 Aoraki miss penfold, shes very chill and kind for my year 7 and year 8 school life

I think this school is a nice place u can make new friends, except for the teacher in science A.
I loved this school and made lots if good friends but my only complaints are the science a teacher is very mean i got kicked out of the class because i dropped a pencil and plus the room 18 teacher miss Gramanitargeted me and on my first day of school if forgot someones name and she yelled and then at the end of the year i told her a teacher who has been there for a long time and then she said who is that but the school is very good and other teachers are nice
I’ve had some ups and downs but ultimately this is the best intermediate out there. Not all the teachers may be as good as another but I will miss my time here. I love my class from year 7 to year 8 and I am sad that we are all going to separate colleges next year. The overseas trip is an amazing opportunity and I recommend it. Although I’ve only been here for 2 years, thank you Somerville Intermediate for being the best you can be. p.s Nicholas is the BEST house
Honestly I'm just sad that I'm not there anymore I made some amazing friends but now it's not the same had to move out of auckland I sometimes just come back and think about this school to think about all the memories
Was one of the first students through this school. It has been great from the start and the facilities have improved steadily since its opening. A great long serving principle has guided the school well
