Great School, very motivating for students and safe. I wouldnt read to much into the negative reviews! It has aided to change our daughters life in a totally different great direction! If public schools where run this way, we would live in a very different better country! Its amazing!
I attended St Cuth's from Year 2 right up until Year 13. I was bullied throughout the entirety of my time there, to the point where it became physical and my life was threatened, and the school never did anything despite attending sessions with a counsellor weekly and meeting with the Dean. In hindsight, I really should have contacted the police. I am still in ACC therapy to treat the PTSD and severe depression and self-hatred that I developed from attending this school. It completely ruined my life and I believe that I will never recover. If you have a daughter who struggles with Autism, do NOT send her to this school.
Horrible evil school do EVERYTHING IS A LIE! Teachers are fake and selfish, and high and mighty and abuse authority. Everything is to do with reputation and leverage, they will make tou suffer. BAD PEOPLE, abusers, bullying. BE WARNED.
Unrespectful, unrespectful, everything you do is unrespectful. The science blog is so old… the school rebuilt pac several years ago which is not even that good… the boarding house is like 100 years old… the curtain haven’t changed for like decades!!! Also no aircon in melrose. There’s one time the school said pay for our ice cream fee, which is not even that much, then they immediately charged to school account… so fake. Everything relates to money for them, they become so . Also most of the teachers in math department are not good. The best teachers I think is in science department. Every year, the rebuild fees charge to students account. We didn’t even enjoy the facilities. How rebuilding junior school matters senior school students???However, the students are very lovely.
My daughter just can't wait to start her new school life here. We love the beautiful school campus and many enthusiastic students & teachers even when we visited the school first time. Good management and welcome environment.
This School had tremendous influence on my LIFE.... I was fortunate ... My Mother sent me here. Now.. I look at it's 'Short comings'.. The SCHOOL denied ALL students to go FORWARD... with the Phylosophy of 'WHAT' females can do ! They DID it without this 'Schools' influence.
My granddaughter goes here and it's a fabulous school that is dedicated to turning out well mannered Smart women. The dedication of the staff and the shows and programs that they put on are fantastic and teaching is of a high level.

Seriously? Schools actually exist that look like this? If I'm honest I'm a tad jealous. My public school was nothing compared to this place. But if I'm brutally honest, I'm kind of glad. Check out the swimming centre for kiddy lessons. It's one cool setup. That said, we'll be sending our kids to a different swimming centre; one that's closer to home, sure, and that's less ritzy and hence less expensive got me there but also one that feels just that little bit more accommodating of a family's needs and more flexible with their time and amenities.
Just so you know Nick, St Cuthberts is a PRIVATE GIRLS School - NOT a state run school!!! At least it was private back in the 1990s. That is why it looks so good!!! I never attended this school. but I did used to catch the bus to my job every morning, and there were always girls from this school on the bus in the mornings.
