We ordered the kids ham and cheese toastie, two scrambled eggs on toast, two coffees and a babycino. Service was lovely, however the food took probably 40 mins to come out and it didn’t seem overly busy. The venue was nice; just a bit tight. There’s restrooms and they’re lovely and clean, they also have baby change tables which is a plus. Kids toastie was made on regular bread which was great, means it was able to be eaten by a kid and wasn’t super hard/tough aggressive to chew. Coffee was good. Extra shots and alternative milks are charged at $0.50 which is reasonable. The sourdough toast with the eggs was pretty terrible. It was super thin and our particular serving wasn’t fit for plating up with a huge hole in it. No one wants to eat eggs on a Cruskit-like piece of toast or have their mouth grated by toasted sourdough. The eggs themselves were flavourless and burnt on the bottom. Wouldn’t recommend it if you have a stroller. Lots of variations in the floor levels and tight to get around. Overall, I wouldn’t return or go out of my way unless it was your local cafe. Worth it if you’re already in the area. Kids cheese and ham toastie was $8 Scrambled eggs and toast was $14 Kid-friendliness: They have a dedicated kids brunch menu
What can I say? Some-Day is a trendy little spot placed on the corner in Floreat. Great food. Better coffee and a super relaxed environment. We had a super tasty breakfast wrap which uses some kind of chutney to give it extra flavour. Decent portion too that kept us full till lunch. Look forward to coming back for more on our next trip.
The food was amazing. The sauce on the corn fritters brought the dish to the next level. Coffee was also quite good. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Been there twice, the food is not bad and above average but not spectacular by any means. But good service and nice atmosphere with an area at the back too! The only issue I had was some-day tried to spruce their offerings with chilli and chilli oil and that made it difficult for my kids. Kid-friendliness: High Chairs are available.
Visited for lunch with my children. Fantastic service from all the staff. Small play area at back courtyard. The courtyard is very well shaded. Kids menu options included toasties and burger with chips. The chips were delicious! Kid-friendliness: Small play area at back courtyard. Kids menu options.
I had a good experience in this place. Smashed avocado was delicious. Fresh bread and ingredients. Cappuccino was good as well. I'll be back soon
lovely staffs, the matcha tasted earthy with a twist of cinnamon powder on topFood: 5/5
The place is super cute, the staff are amazing and very welcoming. The food is good but a-bit too pricey for the avocado smash considering the super small amount of avocado included in the dish. The other dish was a chunky granola and that was beautiful.
Sunday brunch with my daughter, I had pancakes with passionfruit syrup and she had avocado toast, plus we had a smoothie and fruit juice neither were very big but $10 each Food was good but not as great as we were expecting from the reviews here, the avocado toast was not very imaginative and quite plain, for eg. It was a little on the expensive side for what it was. Staff were lovely and attentive though.
First time in this small café for breakfast Very efficient team specially the girl on the floor. Very fast and gentle. She makes sure you gets your coffee as soon as you sit before ordering your breakfast although busy. The coffee was rich and full of aroma. The matcha latte was unctuous and creamy with a strong taste of matcha. Will be back with friends someday!
