We arrived around 17:30 with no reservation. We got a table inside. The people after us did not get a table as they were full so it’s worth reserving. I would agree with other reviews that the middle of the pizza can be a bit soggy. However the crust is lovely and crisp. I had the diavolo which was quite spicy but I liked it. We actually had a problem with our card when trying to pay on the mobile payment device at the table so were asked to pay at the till on the other machine. The bill was suddenly 15 dollars cheaper and I told her she made a mistake as the bill was more. She then admitted that the original bill had been wrong. Our card worked fine on the second machine so it was a good thing the original machine declined our card. I am sure it was an honest mistake and I’m glad they corrected it when they noticed it, but it’s always good practice to check your bills before paying.

All grown up, since leaving the tiny 2 table pre-school on bondi road, this place goes like a train you know, a functional, fast one in another country. Thing is, to put it bluntly I feel like the only person not laughing in a crowded cinema. We all love the salty-sour crust of a good dough, pumped through a wood fired oven. Here's where this place gets 2 of its points. The crust has the tear we love, and the flavour profiles. The limp, wet centre is not unusual for this style, though this example is particularly drenched. A firmer sugo would help. From here, it's only the positive reports of the gluten free crust and good drinks service and ambience that gets us over the hump to 3*. The two pizzas I try are mediocre and particularly poor. The promise of porcini mushrooms seems to have been realised at least partially with champignons, with all the character of a lymph node. If there are real porcini here, they're not identifiable. The promised chilli isn't. And the rocket salad is strictly supermarket grade, and diminutive to add insult. I get that produce is as hard to find as staff. It's a tough time. 3 small pizzas, 1 salad, 2 drinks $122 is fine for a grown up restaurant. These guys are struggling with the entrance exam.

Great atmosphere, warm and welcoming staff. I love the artwork on the walls too. Consistent quality food. The only problem is I enjoy marcantonio too much I’m yet to order another pizza.

Love this place as a local favourite! Food is delicious and reasonably priced. We always order the wood fired pizzas which are cooked perfectly with a lovely thin base and large crust. Lots of fresh ingredients and the food always comes quickly. The staff are very accommodating or friendly. I would recommend making a reservation. We also get takeaway pizzas a lot!

Great neighborhood restaurant. We had calamari and rocket salad to start. Then came the real wood-fired pizzas. Actually 4 pizzas and 1 calzone. The fresh quality of the ingredients was first-rate - so much so that we could only eat half a pizza each, and took home two pizza boxes for lunch tomorrow. Always delicious food, great service and family friendly. Happy to make a pizza with no sauce, no cheese, just potato for my difficult 8 year old and they were so accommodating and helpful. Makes a family night out so much easier.... thank you society pizza- our favourite Italian!Food: 5/5

2nd time in 3 years I've been there thanks to the pandemic and living out of the state. Since my first time, I've become an amateur pizzaiola and am a great admirer of the pizzas these guys produce. Genuine Neapolitan Style. I've seen bad reviews about the customer service, but sometimes people have a bad day - it's all I'm saying. Both times I've visited, the customer service was delightful and cannot fault them. Would go there everyday if I could. Thanks guys! see you again next time I'm in town.

Dear Victoria - thank you for blessing Bondi with your incredible restaurant!! We visit almost weekly and have got to the point where we don’t even bother to look at the menu but instead ask the very incredible Simon to bring us whatever he thinks we will like. He is totally amazing, the food is incredibly, consistently amazing and so are the rest of the staff. THANK YOU!!

This place is amazing! Their pizza is the best in Sydney and their pasta is to die for too! The vibe of the restaurant is lively, cozy and unmatched! The waiting time is minimal, and the staff are all very friendly who do not stop smiling! It’s a must visit!!
