Unrecognisable from what other reviewers have said. We bumped into this place and was hungry, so had breakfast and a coffee. Food was excellent, decent prices, and service was both quick and friendly
Good for coffee and pastry but not good address for food. Needs to significantly improve their breakfast meals quality. We had breakfast there once and won’t come back.
Took a while to arrive but coffee was excellent, chocolate mudcake delishous and peppermint tea flavoursome. Friendly staff!

Came for breakfast, was told 20mins, 40 mins later food comes out. They then forgot to bring out 1 of our friends breakfast completely. Most amazing thing about this place is how completely flavourless the food was.
Breakfast sucks everything in the buffet is stale and lacking in taste. The upgrade option food to be fair isn’t terrible but any other hotel would be serving that as standard. The atmosphere is very lacking and your literally sat blocking the pavement with people having to brush and jostle to get past you.
Best coffee on the 20 or so coffee shops samples near Newstead. Good service. And they don't just use take away cups.
Made the 30 minute trip over to this cafe today for afternoon tea and arrived at 2.03 pm. It advertises that it is open until 3.00 pm. I was told by the Manager that he had decided to close early. What a waste of time that was! I won't be revisiting this cafe any time soon!
