I suffered a near death experience December 2017 re Olsen Avenue Surgerys Medical Negligence also the Goldcoast University Hospital. I have been left with a huge 26inch scar down my leg with loss of use like i had before. So a claim was put forward & Maurice Blackburn Solicitors have already seen evidence my leg with all hospitol report's. We wanted a second opinion as told the big firms can take near everything on No Win No Fee Claim outcome. 

So contacted this Solicitors well after 3 days of no return calls then an obnoxiously rude receptionist called Sally after this lady & that. We get Greg Smith a Solicitor & no apology for 3 day delay. Total rude from the outset, for one i am not his Mate in his speaking to us on the telephone i am an injured prospective client. Was basically as this firm is an abosulte embarrassment, people do yourselves a favour do not waste your time with an uncaring parasite of a firm who 100% put there needs above yours. You will end up being ripped off its obvious on lazy Gregs attitude just keep billing for do nothing is his character with this his lazy staff in pursuit doing not alot of nothing. ( BEWARE ALL )

Sally the receptionist is very rude, very abrupt and either doesn’t pass on messages or if she does then they just don’t bother getting back to you.
When you finally get to speak to a so called lawyer You would be better speaking to your dog as you will get more sense from the dog than from the lawyer. 
Wouldn’t recommend this firm to anyone EVER

I contacted Smiths Lawyers after hours using their online chat for information relating to a worker's compensation claim. I received a phone call the next business day by the Principal Greg Smith himself. Greg listened to my concerns and referred me to a lawyer who phoned me and provided excellent advice. If I am not successful in applying for a comp review, I will have no hesitation in using Smiths to further my claim.

Everyone was forthright and explained every clause with definitions. I think if I had met my solicitor at the start I would have felt much more reassured that my case was in good hands. It would also have eased my mind more if there were regular updates on progress, although I realize that there are long periods when not much is happening. Just a personal thing. Meeting my solicitor and seeing him at work gave me confidence and reassurance. I have no hesitation in recommending Smith's.
