Never coming back.nMy mother has just finished her cancer treatment and received her prescription using a Healthcare Card. We were charged $31 here, but the same medication cost only $7.70 at Harbour Town Pharmacy.nToday, this pharmacy initially asked for $22. When I showed them the receipt from Harbour Town, they went to the back for about 10 minutes and then suddenly offered a price match.nThis feels extremely unprofessional and misleading. Prices should be transparent and consistent, especially for vulnerable patients.nI strongly recommend avoiding this place. Even one star feels too generous.
5 Star Service- I originally came across this Southport Pharmacy after a lot of run around for my MC script.nThey have a great range and wherever they couldn’t help me they organised for me to be able to use my prescription elsewhere, even at a loss of sale to themselves. Due to this I have become a loyal customer even though I’m based in NSW.nOther places were charging excessive amounts on my prescriptions… not only did these guys charge less than RRP but they also offered discounts and free delivery when I had ordered enough.nThe MOST IMPRESSIVE point is their Customer Service… I was calling their regular Pharmacy phone-line and as busy as they were, the staff like Jordan and Sophie from memory would still go out of their way to help before redirecting me to their dedicated dispensary phone-line.nOn the dispensary line they are even more helpful , friendly and professional.nA special mention needs to go to Paula, Loki, Roxanne amongst others at their dispensary who are always real easy to deal with.
The staff here work extremely hard. It does not go unnoticed. It is a very busy Chemist and the staff always look so calm and are just so lovely to deal with. I hope they get a fat Christmas bonus because they deserve that and more. Great job team.
The most scat pharmacy I've ever ordered from, can't interpret scripts properly and constantly loses scripts. Obviously chaos going on back there, do yourself a favour and pick a more organised reliable pharmacy, there's plenty. These people have wasted days of my time.
I hope the management is reading this review. They need to have better queuing system. Ppl were queuing in all isles and all over the counter plus the ppl already waiting for scripts. It was chaotic and this is the 5th time I visited this location, every time it is the same. Waiting up to 30min for a script and when the pharmists brought out the finished scripts onto the selves on the side they don't call out the name so I saw other customers waiting there unnecessarily and taking up the same space. This is not good enough and please have clear signages in where ppl are supposed to queue up, COVID type of stickers on the floor aren't going to be seen by ppl especially when someone is already standing over it. Or even have one counter for scripts pick up only. And you can still serve other customers when that counter not being held up. Also whilst the staff were all busy, none of them were proactive in askingthe ppl who have been waiting around for 20mins. wearing Get it sorted please or you will loose more customers. There are other chemists around.
