Wasn't impressed by the banh mi: bread with a stale aftertaste, leaking mayo or similar sauce. This one had onions in it which is quite unusual although good. All this for $11 is a bit overpriced. The service was very fast and friendly though.Food: 2/5
My only complaint is that I usually order a fresh banh mi and eat it too quickly . A place that values their customers and always brings a 'can do' attitude, which makes a refreshing change from the norm.
Just had a morning soy coffee and loved it. May be because I am so used to 7/11 coffee the coffee here tasted awesome Atmosphere: 5/5
Great little cafe on Hay. Stopped in for coffee every morning while I was on a business trip. Service is quick and coffee is hot Not much to add, just the 5 stars.
Morning Banh Mi Love when I come across small businesses that are doing things right. The owner’s got a cheerful way of greeting everyone that drops on by : I was skeptical when I saw that I could grab a Vietnamese Banh Mi really quickly on my way to the early ferry to Rottnest Island. Thankfully I was impressed after the first bite. Safe to say it was a smash Great outdoor seats too to watch the city come alive. Swing by if you’re in the area!
Great Spicy Chicken Roll and my mum enjoyed the Pork Noodle Soup while we're having lunch. They've outdone it.
Best Bahn Mi in the Perth! Salad bowl's are amazing, two choices of outstanding cooked meats with lovely fresh salads. Excellent, friendly, efficient service. Could not recommend more highly!
All the regular Cafe staples but they specialise in their Vietnamese / Korean fusion inspired food. Their large combination roll consists of all the best salad trimmings you might find in a Bahn Mi or Bao. But the meat choice pick 2 is all of the Korean favourites, bulgolgi beef, spicy beef, spicy chicken, roast chicken, satay chicken, spicy pork, roast pork. Once you have one you will be a regular customer. Staff are super friendly and focus on fresh tasty food and amazing coffee. Been a regular myself for 5+ years
I love this cafe ....!!!! John is one of the friendliest cafe proprietors I have met over the years.... He describes his food as a 'Smash up' between Vietnamese and Korean- as he is Vietnamese and his wife is Korean!! Well, that makes for a spicy and interesting cuisine, don't you think??.. But he also has the same brekkies, lunch and take-away as any local cafe , and he serves up a great coffee!!!! BUT if you do want something spicy.... just ask for one of his famous spicy pork, chicken or lamb rolls ..... You will not regret it, I assure you.. Ps They are located just off the corner of Hay street and Pier street in the CBD's East End
Amazing staff! Super friendly. Happy to make vegan sandwiches too! Defo coming here again
