3.5 stars. Venue: in front of a red cat bus stop., next to town hall. Convenient but quiet place. Some tables and chair indoor and outdoors. Good environment for light lunch here. Service: parchment paper is placed on each tray. Likely let's think they are clean. The staff was polite, looks bored no smile. One plastic bag for one bread. That bag is big enough for the bread. Same bread was displayed in 2 places. One doesn't have name and price. A bit chaotic Products: not only bread and cakes, but also coffee and tea. Bought the bread only. Haven't tried cakes or drinks. Good price. Cakes are pretty. There are many bread, more choices than before. More categories, Larger size, and Flavours are different than other bread shops. Bread was good. Will try other products.
Great variety of bread selection. Good coffee also served here. It's good that they have few tables outside, so people can enjoy the sunshine while eating or drinking
Taste wise was not too bad, not overly sweet for breads we bought. Custard bun, matcha red bean mochi, taro mochi, chicken bun. Filling was too little so like we only ate bread. Service was just ok, no smile but also not rude. They use single plastics for bread like another bakery nearby. Hope these bakeries can start using paper bag one day?
Some divine looking Birthday cakes & gateau. Also some great small cakes & pastries. There is also a coffee machine but we didn't try the coffeeFood: 4/5
located in a pretty good spot, with quite a variety. the ones i have tried so far are good for me not too sweet. service is pretty fast too.
Ok, let's start with the bad first... The bubbleteas are a bit too diluted for me and the big cakes are priced quite high in comparison to for example Master Chang’s Bakery in Spencer Village. I also think that they need 3 people to operate rather than 2 which usually ends up being a wait at the counter. Now, the positives! Ok, so the cakes are well presented and shop is cleaned. The cakes are beautifully decorated. In terms of the pastries, they taste yummy! I love the ones with the pork floss, a dance of sweet and savoury in the mouth with the melting pastry. Amazing!
The lady at the counter didn't say hello or what did I want she just stood there until I ordered. And then proceeded to sigh after I ordered a hot chocolate to take away. Why run a business if you don't want business
Incredible! We were visiting Perth for five days and unfortunately only discovered this place on day three, needless to say we came back every day for the rest of our trip, even twice on one day! This is one place I'd come back to Perth for, we've never tasted pasties so luscious, so incredibly buttery without being too rich, everything was perfect. The iced long blacks are also great for a hot Perth day and a walk down to Victoria Quay.
This was a great find when we were looking to curb a bubble tea thirst. It has a nice little selection of bubble tea but also a great selection of baked goods. The food looked and tasted yummy, service was quick and the place had a nice vibe.
Sun Merry pioneered this style of Asian bakery, and the outfit needs a bit of TLC here, but credit where it's due; the staff have displayed product well and kept the outlet clean. Note to management: blown light fixtures ruin 'the look'.
