Had the minestrone soup. Wasn't good and definitely not worth the money. Service was good.Food: 2/5
Great food. The owner is food lover. Only homemade stuff. I did work there ten years ago and the food was great!!! And iam french, so I know what I am talking about. I ve been working in many food places. But this one , everything is made there. Perth is lucky to have it.
Ordered BBQ Skewers and BBQ Liempo for lunch with my workmate as I wanted to introduce them Filipino foods. BBQ Liempo is delicious but apparently, the skewers meat which is pork, they're raw.
Best salads / grain bowls in town. Ingredients are always fresh, and their dressings are super tasty. Much better alternative to the ‘fast food salad places’ like Sumo Salad etc.
Best place for soup. Only a handful of varieties available but there is one to suit everyone. I find the smallest size, although it looks small is very filling especially with a bread roll. I personally haven’t tried the ham and cheese brioche, however a friend recommends it.
I heard the soup was good here, but when I went, I wasn't impressed with a couple of things. With soup being a vegetarian staple, there was only one vegetarian soup on offer. The pumpkin soup was riddled with bacon which was disappointing. There was also only one vegetarian salad available. What bothered me the most that bread who has soup without it? was extra - but not only that - butter costs an extra 20c! I'm not sure what the ratio is of butter lovers vs haters but I'm of the school that it should be a right, not a privilege - one that doesn't need to cost 20c, the majority of which only covers the cost of the packaging. How much profit is a business going to lose by scraping a bit of butter across a customer's bread, instead of charging them 20c for a packet of Lurpak? Although I was pleased to see they use bio packaging, I'm not sure this business and I share the same ethos on the price of condiments in small packets.
Love this place for soup. Was on soup for ~3 months straight post surgery and would regularly mix these guys into the rotation. They always come up with some unique offerings. They're a little priceier than some of the soup joints around town, but the uniqueness and quality is generally to a higher standard.
Not the best atmosphere for dinning in but god, their food is healthy and delightful. It's quick and just in the heart of the city so it's ideal for those working or shopping in here. The only downside of Slurp is that it closes as the first restaurant at this shopping mall. If you like soups and salads you won't regret. Their goulage soup in bread and grilled veggies with ciabatta is simply the best!
Absolute delicious soups here. A little on the pricey side but not out of place for Perth and wonderful on a cold day. Highly recommended the beef goulash
It's winter, please bring back the the three bean and meat chilli soup please ; you hadn't had it for ages.
