Story

With its improvements in recent years, Sketches is no longer a little cafe with a small dining space, but a cafe-restaurant with adequate dining spaces for either intimate indoor, trendy alfresco or casual outdoor dining. Transforming between cafe and restaurant settings allows us to cater for both casual catch-ups in the day and fine-dining on special occasions at night.Whilst our menu is categorized as modern Australian, essentially we are a team that is passionate about fresh produce with an open-mind to any great food ideas regardless of where they originate from. Expect to see not just the all-time Australian favorites, but also modern international influences throughout our menu.No matter which setting or menu you choose the staff at Sketches will always ensure you have a great time dining here. Really enjoyable experience! I had the salmon, perfectly cooked with a interesting twist of flavor. My husband had the steak, cooked perfectly with a lovely smokey aroma. Wine was very very good. Desserts were nice, but not as nice as the mains. The place was quiet the night we were there so it was a great environment to have a chat.
Great food and service. The coffee was just okay though. Car park is at the back and plenty of courtyard space for outdoor dining as well as a small bungalow for small events. They have daily specials too so make sure you ask for it if they don’t mention it to you they forgot to notify me, otherwise I would definitely have ordered the Sunday roast pork. Will return again to check out other menu items.
Been here twice now and have loved it both times. Always has a comfortable atmosphere, staff are friendly and service is very quick. Menu has fairly standard cafe offerings, which is exactly what I was looking for. All well prepared and delicious so far. Will keep coming back for my lunch break.
A great selection of food and drinks, friendly staff and ample parking out back. It's a regular lunch spot for me! I highly recommend the schnitzel roll
We walked in and waited but no one available to seat us. Then a waiter take order of other people who came after us. He didn't even wait for me to fimish my sentence, he got my partner drink and food, and my food only. The wait for food is a fair bit too.

Very easy to walk past and miss, but do yourself a favour and don't. Lovely little, no frills cafe that delivers great coffee and comfort style brunch with amazing service and reasonable prices. I may have found my new local!
Top quality restaurant, that is out of my regular price range. Good dinner for 4 of us was around $230, including some drinks. I had the French onion soup and the steak, both very great and I would order them again. Would not bring kids here.
We came in 15 minutes after they opened and there were only four customers at that time but the wait staff seemed to be in a hurry in getting our orders. That did not feel comfortable. The food presentation was nice though and food tasted okay, nothing special. It was a bit pricey considering the size of their servings.
