One of the opening restaurant during Christmas. Environment 5/5 Very spacious restaurant and there’s a kids playground inside. Very family friendly. Service 3/5 We were asked to take our seats. There’s 10 of us and we were quite confused because there’s no large table. We have to shift the tables to merge ourselves, although there’s few staff walking around. Deep fried prawn 4/5 Overcooked and the prawn has shrunk. Texture still fine. Buffalo wings 4/5 Taste good but number of wings is too little for the price T-bone steak 3.5/5 Ordered medium rare but it seemed to be medium instead. Very tough texture and the rocket salad wasn’t cleaned up properly, carrying many “branches” that can’t be chewed. Spicy prawn risotto 3/5 Too salty for me. Spiciness just right and many prawns given, but slightly too pricy. Grilled chicken 5/5 One of the best dishes, chicken is perfectly cooked and the salad is good. Cheesy lasagna 4/5 Will be really good if they could use the traditional lasagna pot to cook the dish. Not enough sauce but the cheesy sauce moist it a little bit. Will I come back again? 2/5 Quite unlikely as we came here for leisure trip. But if I come back here to travel, don’t think I will be back if there’s some other restaurants operating.
Was waiting for this place to open!! Simple Australian cuisine served in a family friendly environment complete with a small indoor play area for kids. The portion size was epic!!! Both drinks and meals were huge, tasty and well priced for the quality and quantity you get. Simple menu with plenty of Gluten Free options and the management and customer service was exceptional.
I really enjoyed my food including dessert, the Nutella brownie. The staff are very friendly and service very quick. I love the ambiance and so cool that they have an indoor play area for kids. They also had goodie bags for kids! The food was very fresh. The meals are huge and worth it. Will definitely visit in future! Oh and im so glad that there is finally a best yummy halal option in sunshine cst!!!!
Way better then Sizzlers ever was. Is based in the old Sizzlers Maroochydore. Staff, very friendly, huge variety of meals, will definitely go again.
Absolutely loved our visit to Rashays. The staff were really friendly and the meals were huge. Good price and can't wait to go back to try some of the pastas and pizzas.Food: 5/5
1 star for coffee . The breakfast was cold as it sat under the kitchen lights for nearly 10 minutes . Dirty tables with stains and used plates on tables . Waiter doing sms not giving a toss . The experience was horrible ! Plus it was nearly empty and now we know why !! Only plus, the coffee was nice. We offered to pay for coffee not breakfast as it was literally cold ! Toast was like cement and we couldn’t eat any of it ! Poor show Rashays !!! Never again ! Plus a health hazard
I had not heard of this restaurant before seeing it come to life here and I was looking forward to dining here. My experience so far as been a bit of a roller coaster. On the day of opening, Saturday 7th May, 2022 a day before Mother's Day the online booking system was live. Super excited I booked for the first available time it offered, 11am. I turned up and the place was quiet. I could see staff coming and asked if they were open. They weren't sure. I stood at the door for some time and could see staff, photography walking around. Finally I was approached and I asked if they were open, she said no. I said I had a 11am booking I made on their website. She wasn't aware it had gone live. It had rained the night before and the roof had a leak so opening had been pushed back to an uncertain time but was hopeful for 12noon. I walked away. Come 2 days later, Monday 9th I tried again but this time I thought best to call the 1300 number and spoke to a staff and made the booking for 11am that day. 10.30am I get ready to go to Rashays and I get an email, sms and missed phone call that my booking had been cancelled. The restaurant had no power and all day time bookings cancelled. They were hoping to be back opened for dinner from 4pm. Finally some weeks later, I try again. I placed a booking via the app for 2A 2C, 7pm on a Saturday. Got a parking no problem, close to the entrance. Busy night, rather noisy due to a few children in the play area. Greeted by an waitress, given menus and taken to a table, and given napkins and cutlery. She came back to take our order but we said we would order using the table's QR code so we could enter in to the competition. I went to place the order but weren't given the 10% discount RR every time you dine when join upon check out so I enquired at the front desk. I gave my membership no. several times referring to the app and to my emails and nothing was showing up. The staff member put through my order on the cash register but then there was a price difference with an item from the register to the table qr code app ordering, I was given the 10% discount but no entry to the competition. In the end another staff member came to assist and he sent off an email to head office with my membership no to hopefully sort the issue out. I had downloaded the app signed up free on May 5th and it had the 10% off every time I dined. Before coming tonight I saw a promo about paying $10 for joining with same discount, $10 birthday voucher and other exclusive benefits, so I paid the fee thinking it was something different to what I'd already done, giving me more perks. Funnily enough I was given again the same membership no. So at some point I should be refunded that $10. I've received no correspondence since. Our kids meal, Chicken Nuggets arrived first amd our 3 main meals maybe 5-8 mins later. I was surprised with the presentation of my salad which if I'm honest looked like it was just lumped into the bowl and half and avocado dumped on top with not much thought to arrangement or presentation. We paid for 2 drinks at $5 each and that came unlimited. Staff were great at refilling. Nice thick, heavy large glasses. We asked for only half the ice after the first as it was mostly ice. I would like to give Rashays another go, an all you can eat event, breakfast but we'll see if and when the membership issue is sorted.
Efficient lady at front desk, very friendly. Food was ordinary and just warm. Long wait for easy meals. Will not return for breakfast.
Staff were very friendly 10/10 customer service, fast service and delicious food, aswell as a variety of choices on the menu. Definitely will be there again. Also photo included of their delicious Rashake - KitKat
I had never heard of this place but tried it out on the strength of the reviews and the playground for the kids to run around in - always a big bonus. There was lots to choose from and my wife and I certainly ordered far too much, but it was all very good. Would definitely come again, but would order less was in a food coma for the rest of the evening and fell asleep halfway through the SBS Christmas special on scenic British railways, which I had been looking forward to. The size of the desserts were particularly impressive.
