This library may be a little hard to find. Down the arcade from the Main St or lvl3 from the carport. Stairs or elevator to use. Nice & quiet on the Saturday I was there, good to finish some paperwork I needed to do. A few people about.
Situated in the Museum and Library building on Great South Road in Papakura, this place is a great asset for the town. The building was built from the proceeds of the sale of Papakura's interest in the Auckland Airport. The library is spacious with a good range of books on offer for loan. There are spaces for study, and areas have been used for art exhibitions. There is a JP service that is well used.A disposal service for user laser printing services is also available. The library doubles as an Auckland City Council service centre with a limited range of services available.
Typical library experience. Quiet and memorable access to computers etc. JP services here 3x a week as well which is handy. Some Council services also available e.g rates forms.
An absolutely amazing building architecture and has book for everyone. They book in Punjabi and Hindi language as well. You can browse internet, take prints and do scans. You can also rent movies. Highly recommended for family with kids. Finding a parking can be a bit challenge in this area though.
If anyone if lost finding this place it's the huge oversized car parking look alike building !nGuys you need to upgrade your signage. Went round in circles literally trying to locate. Other than that l. Staff are lovely and the jp was present YAY . CAFE LOOKS HEALTHY AND INVITING
