I was in an unfortunate situation where I lost 2 loved ones in the space of 2 years. My initial dealings with Jace and Graeme at Simplicity Funerals NT was in 2020 with the passing of my niece who was a baby. I was provided with so much compassion from Jace and Graeme that at No time did I feel like I was just a client or just a transaction. I felt like I was one of their family and that my loved one was one a part of their family. Early this year my beloved brother passed and I didn’t hesitate and I called Simplicity Funerals NT. Again, Jace was amazing. He organised an interstate transfer and accommodated some complex requests. With Simplicity Funerals NT I felt like a part of their family, Jace bent over backwards to make sure that everything went as planned. My brother’s funeral ended up being a huge affair with over 500 people attending the service and burial, Jace and Graeme were prepared and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Thank you Jace and Graeme. My family is forever grateful for the compassion and care you provided.
Learning of a loved ones passing at sudden notice is always confronting and is a highly emotional thing to go through, regardless of age - especially more difficult when your 90 year old Dad had retired to Darwin from Melbourne 24years ago, creates another layer of logistics and potential stress in bringing together a funeral service within a couple of days. Jace Cavanagh Funeral Director at Simplicity Funerals was awesome in helping my brother and I pull off a very personal and authentic funeral for our dad. What made it easy for us is that Dad had discussed on many occasions prior to him passing on his preference for a celebration of life. Accordingly, dad’s service did not follow a traditional path, and ultimately it was down to Jace’s flexibility, deep empathy, experience and understanding that allowed us to create a warm send-off in keeping with our wishes and dad’s. Jace, can’t thank you enough for supporting Colin and myself and making it all happen - keep up the great work
Sincere, helpful, compassionate and professional is how I describe the service provided by Simplicity Funerals in Stuart Park. Graeme and Jace helped my family through the difficult process of farewelling dad and in doing so, provided us with exactly what we wanted. Thank you both sincerely.
Jace and Graeme showed great compassion to my family and friends as we organised my brother George's final journey. It was as if they belonged to our crazy and diverse village; we are all appreciative of their sensitivity.
My husband passed away recently, Graeme and Jace gave my family great comfort with their professional expertise. They were very sincere and treated us with great respect in organising the Farewell Service. Thank you.
My father died on 24/08/19. Prior to his passing I rang Simplicity funerals to arrange in detail with them his and the families requirements concerning access to him for viewing in accordance with our wishes. I was assured via phone and by email that this would not be a problem. His body was collected on the Saturday and we were told they would be closed Sunday and we could see him Monday. Come Monday on arrival for viewing we were told we can’t see him as they had allocated the viewing to someone else and instead we would have to arrange something else. This was neither agreed nor acceptable. We were forced to relocate his body to Darwin funerals who promptly took control and abided by our wishes without fuss or delay. This came at a cost of $1000. I do not under any circumstances recommend this business. They speak well but did not deliver on their end at our grieving mothers expense. 0/10
Graeme from Simplicity Funerals in Darwin thank you for your support you ran a great service helping us at our saddest time you were thoughtful to us and understanding my husband had to drive from Sydney to Darwin to organise his aunty Funeral it was handled promptly and well organise once my husband got to Darwin. My husband came back from Darwin and his aunty ashes were posted soon after. Job well done Simplicity funerals Craig and Coral thank you once again
