Went for dinner, which is a tasting menu, and the food was good, modern Australian which isn't my favourite cuisine as I prefer bolder flavours, but was tasty. I especially loved the dessert.nService was good, and with a full restaurant the dishes came out at regular intervals - the kitchen must run like clockwork!nThe ambiance was difficult to digest though, lots of concrete and wood, lots of echo, which meant the moment it was full, I had to raise my voice for my partner to hear, and the servers were leaning in and talking in our ears to ask our drink orders.nGood for food, terrible of you want a romantic date with conversation.
Beautiful restaurant with stunning views.nFood was lovely although menu online is not up to date and it’s a minimum of 2 courses which would have been good to know before hand.
We were here on a rainy Saturday for lunch, but it did not detract from our experience. The sea view was wild & and windy, but we felt cozy & well looked after by the staff. The barramundi, chicken perri perri and the balmain bug were all well received. The sides of pumpkin & potatoes were delicious. My partner enjoyed his local craft beer & the wine list is a good selection. We felt it was worth the drive from Sydney.
I had my wedding reception here and highly recommend If you are eloping or having a micro/ smaller wedding. We had 24 people total and hired the upstairs area.nnThe staff were amazing from initial booking to the bar and staff on the night.nnWe did a set menu with platinum drinks package and everyone loved the food. Honestly raved about how delicious it was.nnThank you to Luke, Kate and all of your staff for making everything so seamless. We had an amazing night!
We had such a great night! Great service, exquisite dishes and cozy ambiance! Highly recommend trying their slow cooked beef brisket !
