From the moment we contacted Levi at Signature Stone the whole process has been easy with excellent communication from the office staff to the on site guys.I would highly recommend the company and they gave me an estimated installation date and they committed to that date. The installation guys came and was very careful to the surrounding property. I have run my own business including a team of installers for 12 years and its not easy to get it spot on every time ,thats when the after sales kick in ! At the point of sale Levi Nicholl was very professional. A granite slab was selected for our island bench. We were given the choice to get our bench cut from the bottom or the top of the slab. We chose the bottom half because the top displayed a very busy picture. A approximate cut was marked and he took a picture which he later claimed he never took... We signed a waiver informing us that this was a natural stone. They delivered a bench that was cut from the TOP of the slab! Further the bench now displayed three "man made" marks. One "H" shape, one 380 mm straight interrupted line and two 300 mm parallel straight lines. All three marks are darker than the rest of the bench and the marks are across the natural grain, naturally they are very noticeable. Signature Stone tried to remove these marks but were unsuccessful. We asked that they replace the bench or offer a discount. The only reply was that they would hand the outstanding payment (we did pay a 50% deposit) to a debt collector if we don't pay. They say, they got may years of experience and that the marks are natural... see the attached pictures. The facts are: We did not choose the top of the slab (we have witnesses). And nature does NOT produce absolute straight black lines on a grey stone, specially across the grain. Unfortunately after the first contact we only had lies, denials and legal threats and therefore cannot recommend this company and owner/managers Noel Earsman and Levi Nicholl
