Lovely hidden cafe that is open on Saturdays as well. The current gluten free corn fritters and bacon can be highly recommended - a solid and delicious meal. Love that patrons can choose whether to sit on the dark side or light side of the cafe. There’s an option for everyone, also whether you want a table or a coveted couch. If you access it via the lift in the building, it is wheelchair friendly too.
Have been here about 4 times now so definitely experienced. Good prices, great location, very knowledgeable friendly staff. Only thing I’d critique is for things that come with toast like scrambled eggs or eggs Benedict, please either butter the toast first or give 2 butters. It’s really inconvenient and messy having to scoop all my eggs off, half butter them then scoop it all back on. Plus a bit wasteful all the little plastic butter containers. I really like it here other than that, coffee is my fav.
Went to this cafe with a lady who was in a wheelchair and was looking for a place to sit. Really impressed when a young male staff member came and took us outside and then back in another door to a vacant table. He then told me to let him know when I was ready to leave and he would help us out. Great food and good atmosphere.
The staff was great and friendly the order came quickly but to put it mildly the sticky pork burger advertised as special had little to offer. The fries on the side were shoestring type which was fine but the were overcooked, the pork belly was 6 tiny pieces in 2 very tasty buns with uninspired salad mainly cucumber in good sauce. Sadly the recipe doesn't hold as a burger. When you offer a special better be... Special
Had the big breakfast and a coffee,great food and service would recommend.
Perfectly cooked Eggs benny, great smoked salmon scrambled eggs and a strong long black that could give a lot of places in Melbourne a run for their money! Loved it!
Great spot for a work day lunch or coffee catch up. My usual test for a cafe like this is how well they do a basic scrambled eggs on toast, and Sierra nails it. Buttery and fluffy, with a choice of bread.
It gets 5 stars for good reasons. Staff are friendly, the drinks are hot, and the food is great.
I love that one side of the cafe has ambient lighting. It's the most soothing, relaxing, corner for coffee and contemplation. It's generally quiet due to the tucked away location.
Friendly service, coffee was fine, just quite a dark indoor ambience unfortunately.Food: 4/5
