Today marks my momentous 50th birthday, which I celebrated by visiting Shyun the interior of the establishment is elegantly designed in a refined Japanese style, and I ordered a sashimi platter. Despise the reasonable prices, The colors were not only beautiful but also the freshness significantly surpassed that of other establishments. It was particularly delightful for me to witness my son, who usually does not favor sashimi, genuinely enjoying several servings!nnFurthermore, the staff members frequently provided table service, which was exceptionally commendable. Consequently, I feel that this charming establishment is one I would be eager to revisit!! Thanks Shyun
Lovely to be back and finally getting the chance to experiencing the new and renovated Shyun.nnI have been coming to Shyun over the last 8 years on multiple occasions. It is really heartwarming to see how the business has developed and flourished over the years.nnEvery dining experience I have had with Shyun has been nothing but delightful, never have I had a disappointing dining.nnThe staff are very welcoming and attentive.nnThere are so many varieties of options on their menu, and the price hasn’t changed drastically over the years.nnSashimi is so fresh and melts in your mouth, I was very impressed with the ponzu kingfish - you can really see the details in the preparation.nnKatsu curry is always on point A must try is the crab cream croquettes, this has always been a favourite of mine and warms my soul - brings back a lot of great memories.nnI’d definitely make a reservation prior to coming in, it does get busy during peak hours.nnThank you to the team at Shyun, keep up the quality of your work. It does not go unseen.
Nice atmosphere with friendly staff - Tried salmon steak and wagu don! The wagu don was great but not the salmon as it was fishy or maybe it was not fresh…the tofu curry was okay. Will be returning but might only try the wagu don. We had veg gyoza and spring rolls too…there were some snow peas in the fillings that were still frozen
Absolutely delicious meal! We also enjoyed the sushi and gyoza – fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and a lovely dining experience overall. Highly recommend!
My boyfriend and I visited this Japanese restaurant two days ago and ordered a few dishes. First, I want to mention that their hot dishes were good, especially the desserts. However the sashimi was not that fresh. The most disappointing part was the service. A waitress with a blank expression casually served the dishes and left without a smile. The worst was when a waiter asked if we wanted to pack our remaining sushi rolls while we were still chatting. We felt rushed and disrespected. Although I said everything was fine, he returned with desserts and again tried to clear our sushi plate. We were shocked and felt extremely rushed, especially since we were only there for about 40 minutes.
