Shuji Sushi

I’ve had the usual sushi rolls and found them quite appetising but today ventured out to try something slightly different. This time it was Bento Box A 01 consisting of rice with beef, chicken, sushi, tempura, spring rolls and a salad. The condiments were the usual soy sauce and wasabi. Serving time was quite quick, perhaps slightly under 10 minutes consider it was lunch time. Overall, the meal was quite enjoyable, the serving size good for a lunch.

I usually start the new eating year with a square meal - it sort of functions as a bookmark for my Instagram posts. This bento box from was reasonable for a food court joint. The pork katsu and fried chicken were both fresh and crispy. They were tasty and went well with the rice. Unfortunately the salad was limp and the sushi rolls had rice that was hard. The service was friendly and efficient. Here’s hoping for a better year to come!

Not bad for a quick dinner. Waitress was nice and told us where to sit as they have closed off the restaurant section for cleaning. Fair pricing too. Easy to find this near the Coles shopping area.

Usually eat their sushi rolls but tasted some of their hot food today. Sushi rolls are good. The beef tendon ramen was a let down. Broth was milky and lacked depth and flavour. Ramen was average, slightly over cooked. Tendon was mostly meat and not tendon and chewy. The katsu don and #2 Bento Boz katsu were better.

The food was freshly cooked. The sushis were well assembled. Condiments were provided. There was no wait time for service and I was offered a bowl for my daughters food voluntarily. Food was also brought out to me in a timely fashion.

Not a bad place to have quick lunch, a bit pricey for the quality and quantity, but the location make up for the shortfalls. Would I come back? May be....Which I think is a good thing.

The stuff is fairly good, but the food is disaster. The fish in the Don is used from frozen fried fish chips. The vegetables in figure 2 is straight from frozen food and still not cooked enough!

I was really disappointed today I have eaten at this place several times however today I found a hair wrapped in my sushi, it was literally rolled in with it. I felt sick. PLEASE use hair nets when preparing food!

Amazing food and experience for variety of menu options and everything we had served was great. I would rate higher than 5 stars if I could.

Good food but......to buy $60 worth of food takeaway, then not be provided a plastic bag to carry it is ridiculous. Plastic bags are available at 20c via cash only. If a person orders takeaway, maybe mention if they need a bag at time of transaction.
