It was a fun dinner as most teppanyaki are. Really enjoyed the performance by the chef, especially when he tossed egg into your mouth. Some of the dishes could've used more salt but otherwise was good.Food: 3/5
This place is more about the show and a memorable experience than the actually food. The chefs presents themselves very professionally. The show was interactive too. The kids loved it. However, it was a bit short. In terms of food, it was quite underwhelming. The food tasted ordinary. We were expecting a big feast considering the price but the portion was surprisingly small. The final dish being a very plain fried rice. I was expecting a bit more but that was it. For a memorable experience, probably yes. For the food, no.
We had our dinner in this restaurant last Saturday. Overall, the food was too overpriced on this price. I ordered the wagyu set menu. If you don't want to read English, here's a short Chinese food review: The miso soup tasted like instant soup and the edamame didn't cook with salting water. The quality of M7 wagyu was very average, and so as the lamb cutlet which was too large to eat with chopsticks. Terriyaki chicken was the only averagely good thing in the main though the sauce is a bit watery. And I really didn't know whehter to laugh or cry when I found there was still cold rice clumps after a fancy egg fried rice cooking performance. Even though I'm not the one very concerned about the service, I have to admit that there was very little service as we only got water refilling once until we asked for it in the end. The range hook was too weak to absorb the smoke, so we kept basking in the smoke whenever there was a fire cooking performance. The only good thing in the service is, unlike the other teppanyaki house, I could have my meal quietly without any conversation and interaction with the cook. PS: We actually booked a 50% off offer on the meal, but I think I even don't want to come back with the half price. Actually we paid this disaapointing meal in full price. We didn't get reminded that the set menu is not included in the discount, and we even didn't know teppanyaki can do a la carte until we paid the bill... The guy looked like a manager pointed out the set menu excluding line on the booking page after I argued for the price, expressing that they didn't do any treating. I showed my understanding. Indeed, they didn't do anything wrong, but unfortunately, they didn't do anything right as well, from the food to the service.
We went as a group of five. The food was adequate. It's not great. It's fine to experiment. I'll go to another shop next time for the price we paid for the food.
OK here's my review. First time I've been here. The chef was friendly and nice. The other waiters weren't very attentive and the place was empty. The food was mediocre. The prawn was definately not fresh! If you can smell seafood smell when the prawns being cooked, it's not fresh. The salmon was OK. The amount of food overall was minimal. Most of it was loading up on rice which shouldn't be the last thing served. I left hungry still. I think the show and antics were pretty much the only reason to go. I don't think I'll go back. So I give it a middle score. 3/5.
Visited as part of a staff party and was very happy with our experience. As we had a larger group we had a full table area to ourselves. The wrap around arrangement meant we could still interact with one another through the meal. The food itself was fantastic. Due to the size of our group we had pre-ordered a set menu. Everything was cooked very well and the whole thing is plenty of food to fill you up. We had two people with dietaries in our group and both were very happy with the amount and variety of food they were given in place of the main package for the rest of the group. The theatre of the meal was great fun and was enjoyed by all. The chefs we had were also very pleasant, engaging and charismatic. Would definitely recommend if you are planning a group event for any reason, or just want to enjoy some delicious food with a bit of flare included.
Great teppanyaki! The quality of food is really awesome and the service is good too. If the waiting time could be shortened, that will be perfect.Food: 5/5
We reserved for a menu of $55 per person. Appetiser was good miso soup, kimchi, veggies tempura and fried chicken. Main was good fish, beef, chicken except fried rice. It was plain and no taste. We visited them for lunch May 2022
The meal wasn't bad, and our chef Sam was engaging. We were a party of 7 so you can imagine the bill wasn't insignificant. When it comes to pay they wouldn't allow us to split the bill over 2 credit cards. They have the audacity to tell one of us to pay and the other to transfer their 50%. Who's the customer? In this day and age I cannot accept this kind of poor customer service. As a result I will not recommend the restaurant, nor will I return there.
Amazing food! Quite fresh. Would def go again. A tad expensive
