An intimate sized, clean training facility. Decent rate of equipment - not as comprehensive as an Goodlife but still a good range of machines & free weights. Easy free parking out front. Suitable for PT clients as coaches appear skilled. Staff polite but only really engaged meaningfully if a paying PT client. Limited group training sessions offered. Very limited group sessions offered during school hours with the off peak membership. Not good value to use as a self driven gym user for what you get. Boutique price without the perks no cold water bottles, no towels, must pay extra for ice baths & sauna, beyond an app that appears to still be in the development stages it has potential. Limited floor space available that is often occupied by physio staff treating clients so training in a group of 3 was often a challenge. Would be fine if training solo. Also be aware that the 12 week membership must be canceled in writing with a month notice, otherwise you’ll be charged for another month without discussion - it’s in the T&Cs but no discussion with daily personal check in staff to help you manage your membership beyond the 12 weeks purchased ie no discussion at 7-8 weeks to see if you are enjoying your training, if you plan to continue training & if a monthly or 12 month membership would suit you better moving forward. Not unusual in this industry but worth being aware of to avoid getting hit with an extra month than desired.
I love this gym and community. I get that big exercise hug every time I train here. I struggle with consistency for different reasons, but it is never daunting walking through those doors. The staff are great, and the culture led by Kelly is always positive and inclusive and embraced by Kellys team. The knowledge within Shredded and the sharing of this knowledge really makes it a team effort, I feel empowered in my fitness journey. Thanks to all at Shredded, it's a cracker!!!
I’ve been training at Shredded for 3.5 years now, and having trained at many gyms around the world, I can say that the Shredded training facility is second to none. The gym has a warm and welcoming community atmosphere with a diverse range of members, with one common goal, to become the best version of themselves. Whether it’s group fitness classes that you’re into, cardio, resistance training to build strength, hypertrophy or another goal, there is something here for everyone, and plenty of ancillary services like saunas and ice baths to assist with recovery. I’ve been training with Kelly M for many years and she’s an absolute world-class trainer that has helped me to achieve physique, strength and lifestyle goals that I thought were out of reach. Signing up at Shredded is making an investment in yourself and I can’t recommend Kelly and the team at Shredded enough.
After only 3 months training at Shredded I am stronger, in better shape, eating better, more energised and clear minded than I have been in years, thanks to Kelly’s coaching never letting me skip legs day and the consistency and focus that comes with having one of the best personal trainers in the world in your corner. The magic of Shredded is in the combination of the genuinely world class coaching expertise of Kelly and the Shredded team, the state-of-the-art facilities, and the culture that Shredded displays in everything it does. This is the one of very few gyms I have been in where the ego really is left at the door. The staff are genuine, welcoming and greet you by name. The members are there to work hard, but still smile, say hello and make space for sharing equipment without issue. More than just a gym, it feels like a community of positive souls working on building their best selves. Kelly is the beating heart of Shredded and her personality is reflected in everything about the place. Welcoming, open, consummate professional, tough-as-nails, top of her game and focussed on being, and providing the environment for everyone else to be, the best. I cannot recommend Shredded highly enough to anyone looking for the best strength and performance coaches and facilities in Perth. I have never felt more at home while grinding out a weights session and at 52, I feel like I am just getting started.
Wanted to supercharge my results with my training and nutrition. Went and saw the team at shredded. They did a comprehensive evaluation of how my body moves. Weaknesses, strengths. Then we sat down, outlined my goals and came up with a achievable training and nutrition plan fifo Through PT sessions and sticking to the plan I lost 10kg in 6 weeks. And had more energy than I’d had for years! Big thanks to Mitch Pt and the professional staff at shredded. Do yourself a favour!
