I had, what I thought was an impossible task, to find some shoes for a couple for unusual situations so while I was in New Plymouth my sister recommended that she take me to see Nick at Shoe Clinic He was absolutely fantastic and I came away with two pairs of shoes that were perfect for the situations I needed them for. So thank you Nick for the perfect customer service.

I was looking for comfortable shoes for my work, including many hours of walking and standing. My legs were sore at the end of each working day. A friend recommended this place, and it was just what I was looking for. First, the service was personal, I felt free to communicate my needs, and I was heard. Then, the process of shoe offer was extraordinary measurements and scanning. I got a thorough explanation of what the scan revealed, and then the seller in my case, it was the owner of the Shoe Clinic, if I am not mistaken offered me a pair to try. It was comfy, but I was not too fond of the style. The third pair met all my needs : It was important to me not to feel stressed and obliged to buy, and in this place, I felt safe. Although the purchase wasn't cheap, it worth every dollar!

This is one of the best stores I have been to. Had really bad experience with an online purchased pair and it caused corns which cause immense pain while walking. Got referred to Shoeclinic by the podiatry for shoe recommendations. Nick is clearly on top of his game in the business in terms of his knowledge of podiatry and customer service. First a map of my pressure points was taken and after my issues were understood, Nick bought a pair which was just perfect for my feet. Didn't even have to look at any other option. Great deals and good selection but most importantly the right fit for your feet which is hard to find if you are a flat feet like me. Highly recommended!
I purchased a pair of shoes here a few months ago that were recommended for me after doing a gait scan and they've been the best shoes I've ever had for my over pronation and plantar fasciitis. Staff were exceptional!

They're not just there to make a quick sale - they actually really want you to get a shoe that works for you and have excellent knowledge to back it up. 5 stars!
We started buying shoes at the shoe clinic from the recommendation from our podiatrist 2 years ago. Since then, my son and I have purchased all of our athletic shoes from the shoe clinic. Nick and the staff are always very helpful and accommodating, frequently ordering in shoes of a specific size and colour for my son. They are extremely knowledgeable, making it a very efficient process. We have been very happy with all of our purchases from the shoe clinic and strongly recommend them.
