The young female waitresses at this bakery really let the whole place down. One seemed to have no clue what she was doing and the other one expressionless and didn’t say a thing when she placed our food down. The food was good, very basic. Some staff training would go a long way to making this place better! If you chose to work in hospitality people skills are a must!
Unfortunately the young girl on staff lets this place down. The food was alright, nice cool breeze lots of flies though but they can’t help this. But the young female member of staff who served me was expressionless and rude. She served my food to the table with a plonk and no words even after being thanked. She appears to have no enthusiasm for the job she has and no understanding of just how lucky she is to have a job. I know lots of young people who are looking for work and would probably be a lot more personable than her.
Rap could of been little bigger and more tandoori tasting but the choc milkshake was simply delishFood: 4/5
Great little breakfast spot on the road's edge. Friendly staff, really great, freshly prepared food. Thank you I enjoyed the breakfast and the coffee, It made for a great start to my Sunday morning, thank you again!
Yummy food, great spinach and fetta sausage roll. Chips might have needed a little bit of extra salt, but that could have been a one off. I was recommended to go there specifically for the chips.Food: 4/5
I got an ice chocolate and received a chocolate milkshake, I knew they where busy and probably just got it mixed up with someone else order so I just let them know, but they they brought it back and said this is an ice chocolate… this was very clearly a milkshake and did not even have ice in it isn’t the the point of an ice chocolate?? But the sausage roll was good.
Everyone in the family had lots to choose from. Coffee came out hot and strong. Plenty of Vegan options, fantastic to see, businesses need to stop acting like Vegan food is hard. We all left full, satisfied and happy. Very reasonably priced for a tourist town. Will visit again on our next trip!
Just had four Indian curry meals for lunch. Absolutely disgusting. All four curries tasted like water. No flavour at all. Definitely not freshly made. Very disappointing! First and last visit to Shali’s.
I hate to say it but this was not a good experience. Probably about 30 - 40 minutes for the takeaway curry. Unfortunately it was not very good. It had me questioning the difference between a stew and a curry. Even my husband who eats a lot left half of his unfinished. I wouldn't recommend.Food: 2/5
Young Staff were disappointing, the young girl who served me had no expression and looked like she didn't want to be there and got our order wrong when we only ordered 3 things. Also the coffee was horrible, tasted like it was burnt.
